After the Nazis penetrate France, Pierre looses his mother and gets drifted into Spain. Finds shelter in a Gypsy camp, where he gets carried into adventures, although he has hardly sixteen years of age
In Italica, next to the ruins of the Roman Amphitheater:
Adjacent to the gladiator arena, a campfire sparked ministars into the Andalusian sky. Gitano men sat around in circles.
Candela performed the Ritual Fire Dance, composed by Manuel de Falla. My limbs were saddled to a burro. My head hung on a rope tied to the branch of a birch tree. A Gypsy midget rode the branch, and held to rope.
At midnight sharp, the firedance ejaculated into climax, the ghost of Candela husband burned in the fire, the burro got restless, raised dust clouds with her hoofs and then jumped onto her hind legs and threw me off.
While noisy women distracted the bully's attention, I stole the rope from the midget.

Sorry, this is not specifically about your book.
I'm the Co-Editor of New Europe Writers' forthcoming anthology Bucharest Tales and was wondering whether you'd be interested in submitting one of your short stories.
Sincerely,
