Okay, so I said I'd be brief, so here goes...

We all, and that's literally, we ALL sense in our hearts that we've been put here on Earth. 
Many of us have managed to dull that built-in instinct for truth -- I did for sixteen years --- but when we're alone, as many of us are now,  we sense this truth. That we are not accidents, we are not the result of the roll of the chemical dice, but we are deliberate creations, of which our biological parents were merely, though importantly, the means to our entrance into this world we now find ourselves right now.

So.  Lately the Lord has had me reading through Matthew's Gospel. For those of you new to this, that's the first book of the New Testament. I've been camping out in the thirteenth chapter, and Wha!!  I mean, I've been reading the Bible cover to cover nearly every year since I was saved at the age of sixteen, and MAN!   My eyes have really been opened by the Lord, as to the significance of the parables...especially the Sowing Parable.  Yep. Not the Sower Parable, as I had previously thought. The emphasis is on the ground, not on the Sower  who is the Lord Jesus Christ, and those who obey His command to sow.

This parable has a definite meaning, but the Lord surprised me, and made it very personal to me. Since I know God is no respecter of persons, I am sure the meaning is universally aplicable to each and every human, no exceptions.  So, I promised I'd keep this brief, so later I will explain this parable and what Jesus is saying to us by it, today, and every day to us.  Listen, this is something that ought to be common sense, but its not. Many people spend their whole lives missing it, not getting it, and using it in their lives.
The thief on the cross understood this parable just moments from missing it for eternity.  sO check back here later...alright?
