Christian Youth God is always with you. Adolescence is easily the toughest part in a Christian’s life. Being young has its benefits, but it comes with a price. Drama and bullying are common problems you’re faced with, and sometimes it can seem overwhelming. But if God brings you to it, he will bring you through it. When faced with the challenges of life, don’t resort to temporary pleasures that never work. God will give you the strength to push through it all- if you trust in Him. Christian youth trust God to see you through whatever you are facing in life.
Trouble Doesn’t Last Forever
The world doesn’t stop turning because you’re suddenly faced with a difficult situation. Life goes on, and just like seasons change, life changes as well. Whenever you feel like the trouble will never end, ask yourself if it’s really possible that things will stay this way your entire lifetime. The answer is no; God has a bright future for you, and your hard times help create it. God’s love is so great for you that he sent his only son. Jesus didn’t die for you to suffer and ignore him. Jesus died so that you can one day overcome.

Do Not Fear
God is the creator of everything, but above all of his creations, humans were chosen to be made in his image. He made us each in his special way, but once He did so, he didn’t forget about us. God cares for each of us in a loving, personal way. The Bible tells us that in the end, God conquers all evil. When the conqueror of evil is on our side, what do we have to fear? Don’t fear death; Jesus overcame it and so can we through him. Don’t fear judgment; God’s opinion is the only one that matters. Don’t fear loneliness; even if no one on this Earth cares, you are never alone. God is always with you, and if you trust him, he will help you conquer your fear.
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Pray About It
You’ve probably heard the phrase, “Talk to God like you talk to a friend.” And it’s true ; just like a good friend, God will listen to you and comfort you. However, God is much better than a friend because he has the power to do something about your situation. Tell him whatever is bothering you, and don’t be afraid to ask for a miracle. Nothing is too big or too small for God. Pray consistently; don’t just pray once and forget about it. If it seems like your prayers aren’t being answered, maybe you need to pray for understanding. Maybe God’s will is not the same as yours. In this case, pray that God will open your eyes to what He wants. Know that his great plan is unfolding at this very moment; tough times will be made much easier.
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”

So next time life seems to weigh you down, remember that God will help you through. Sometimes distress is what it takes to renew our faith in God. Perhaps He is trying to get a message to us and experience is the only way. On our own, we are weak. But if we trust in Christ, He will make us strong enough to overcome any situation. Always- Believe in God.
