Let us not forget the fabulous networking opportunities that bring nations closer and people to the forefront of finding out that the world is actually a lot smaller than we sometimes imagine and sometimes people, things and opportunities are so much closer than we ever thought possible.

I want to take a moment to thank every one I know or come into contact with for listening and reading and caring enough to do so.

Somewhere in between the hours of this past month I managed to read a great book, I was busy with Andre Brink's 1976 An instant in the Wind when I got side tracked by William P. Young's 2007 The SHACK...WOW...I am so happy to have read it and I know that you should!

Christmas has past as the years have gone by
and so many times, I have seen people cry
I have heard laughter and I have felt tears all these many
Christmas days over the years.

I ask myself now as I shop for the food
was it all in the past done for the good
Was Jesus there?
Did anyone stop to care?

Every year we celebrate birthdays
the same and again we give presents and we are joyous as
we share with our friends.

This year it is Christmas looming again, the Birthday of Jesus
the celebration begins.

Do not forget to invite him to be there with you,
when Jesus is present there are so many gifts,
the hearts of your loved ones
will lift.

Do not worry where the food comes from or where time will go.

God will be with you and you will all know.

I pray:

Dear Jesus please be present at the Christmas table of all our loved ones and friends this year. Amen
