Grandfather's Mountain is a lovely spot to spend the day. From grandfather mountain , you can see a hotel, a pond, houses below, helicopter's flying by and gorgeous mountain peaks. The day that we spent at Grandfather mountain was cool. Within a few minutes, fog started to float into the mountain area. We watched, as the fog took over the visual sites of, the mountain peaks off in the distance. The swinging bridge allows you to look down several hundred feet below. A helicopter flew by, while we were out on Grandfather's mountain. There is a animal exhibit and a museum exhibit at Grandfather's mountain. We saw deer, cougars lying in the sun, we fed the bears some food. This was a great day to enjoy the outdoors. The museum has different gems that have been found at the mountain. Do not forget to purchase your favorite fudge, while you are the fudge factory. They have a variety of fudge flavors to choose from.
