While listening to the man of God speak it occurred to me that since the enemy doesn't use anything new, I should address one of the things he used on me, my self image. I truly did not like what I saw in the mirror and in truth it had been that way from the moment I knew my hubby had been unfaith - the first time. Because I did not remember that Christ lives in me and that I am created in his image and that I am fearfully and wonderfully made - even though my husband would sometimes tell me he liked what he saw.
The enemy will use this to keep you from the promise. It will cause you not to pray and seek the LORD while waiting for restoration. This will cripple your stand. While in the heat of the battle for my daughter's life - I believed myself to be a bad parent. I am still standing for her and her family. The difference now, is that I know who I am in him. I know about dying to self and allowing Christ to be made manifest in my circumstance.
      I admonish you to tear down the altar you've constructed to yourself. Pity parties are about you and only YOU! They are altar ceremonies to you. Find yourself in Christ and in the power of God's might. Stop defending yourself, Christ is your intercessor. Hide behind the hem of his garment.
  Do not use the language of a believer, a stander and continue to embrace the world and its ways. It stumbles not yet believers and weak faithed Christians.

Eph. 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Gal 1:10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

Luke 17:2 It would be better for him to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around his neck than for him to cause one of these little ones to sin.
