Did you ever need an Electric Cart while shopping in a large store? Did you ever accompany a family member who needed one? Do you think all large stores should have this assistance? If you have answered yes or no to any of these questions read on.
When bodies are are weak and we need an assist an electric cart comes in handy when shopping. It is something we expect in today’s modern world.
Electric carts are needed in large stores in order to get from ONE end of the store to the other or when you can only walk short distances. Also, they have nice big baskets to store all our purchases.
With an electric cart it gives people the ability to be independent and to shop freely.
What makes me furious is the fact some stores are not tuned into this huge Customer Service approach.
I was in a large electronics store recently and was appalled when they did not have an electric cart in their store nor any of their stores around the country.
People who use electric cart are consumers and spend money as well as people who can walk their large stores from end to end.
I would like to see the following:
(1) Electric Carts near the entrance to the store.
(2) Charged up and ready to work.
(3) If key is needed it needs to be attached to the electric cart. Extra walking to find the key is unacceptable.
(4) Place a mirror on the handle bars for safety while backing up.
The people who are in charge of these vehicles need to think like somebody in need.
The reason for these electric carts is because the person using them can not walk a long distance or stand for long periods.
I would like to see more electric carts available in all the stores that are large enough to accommodate them. No excuses. The handicapped have spoken.
