What infuriates me the most is when “women” are swayed to have implants. They feel this is what society wants. They think that unless their breasts make some sort of statement they are not feminine or sexy. When they hear all the commercials on television, radio, magazines to enhance their breasts and immediately their dream man will materialize and their lives will end like Cinderella.
I recently had my yearly mammogram. The technician asked me how I like my breast reduction. I said, “I love it. It was the best thing I even did for myself.” She said, “The majority of the women who have had a breast reduction were happy. The women who were not happy were the ones with implants. This is out of the mouth of a professional who deals with this on a day by day basis.
With Cancer on the upswing a small to medium breast size would definitely be a plus to monitor our bodies in case of Cancer. Having had a mammogram with both large and small size breasts, I have to tell you it is much easier being smaller than larger to have the mammogram.
This is definitely a very personal decision to make. But before you have breast implants - think – do I really need them? Why am I going through the expense? The pain? In the end all I have to do is please myself. Every woman is sexy. It is all in the mind. When you feel good about yourself and love yourself, you will love your body as well.
