The holidays are upon us once again. To some of us especially children they can’t wait until Christmas to open their presents. The adults on the other hand are feeling stressed to the limit. The adults are the ones which have to balance work, family, social obligations at this time of year which seem nonstop.
Where is the energy and especially the money coming from for all this hoopla? Unless there is a charge card with a large balance I don’t know how this time of the year can be lived through with a smile on our face and exhaustion in our heart.
We all want to do what is best for our family and friends, but at what a cost. With the economy in a deep recession (depression) this year is going to have to be a creative holiday to keep the holiday spirit and ourselves in the holiday spirit.
Now is the time for family and friends to rally together to help with food and dinners of holiday good cheer.
Now is the time for everybody to go back to their crafting to make holiday presents. Everybody can have a great fun, spiritual holiday without spending their house payment, car payment or rent payment for the next 3 months.
Let’s keep this year in prospective to the economy. We can have a wonderful holiday season without being stressed to the limits both mentally, emotionally and financially.
Unfortunately, during the holiday season many people become super depressed. Depressions so deep suicide is not far from their thoughts. If we could only be extra special nice to these people who are alone, and who are depressed in general and are super depressed during the holidays. Get them through the holidays and make them smile and the thoughts of suicide will dissipate.
