Framing is a huge business. It can be as costly as to the amount of money you want to spend. There are many custom businesses around who will make any kind of creation you desire with the price tag to go along with it. This is fine if you can afford it and let’s face it a picture or a painting does look different when it is beautifully framed.

When you are a person who needs to frame your pictures and can’t afford to spend a small fortune for each framing what do you do?

There is an alternative.

1.    You can go frame shopping at different stores and find them on sale.

2.    You can also shop in places like used furniture and clothing stores for picture frames. Even if the picture in the frame is not to our liking, look at the frame. In this way you can pick up expensive frames for very little money.

3.    If you picture or painting can’t use glass for a professional hanging Plexiglas is another alternative. Plexiglas is a great alternative to glass because it is unbreakable and the picture or painting can be seen through the substance but it is expensive.

4.    Another alternative to Plexiglas is a plastic material which is found in places like Home Depot, etc. It is already cut to size and it is much more reasonable in price and it works.

Don’t let the cost of framing keep you from framing your pictures and artwork. Be creative and frame all the work you want in an inexpensive way and just as beautiful since you did it.
