When I was growing up my family and extended family were all within walking distance of each other. Now that is not the case. We are split from state to state and coast to coast.
It is very hard to stay connected and feel that close blood relationship when there is illness or a death in the family. Jumping on a plane sounds great in movies but it really doesn’t pertain to real life when a plane ticket and travel expenses have to be met immediately.
I really appreciate the social medical we have at our finger tips today. It seems that facebook has really out ranked and jumped to the top of the page. With being able to write blurb’s and uploading pictures it is a way that I have become once again connected to my loved ones so far away.
Many times I feel so ignored and then I am surprised when I misspell a word or write something I just wrote real fast and people respond to this especially when it is a misspelled word.
