Amazon has announced that they are going to use unmanned helicopters to deliver your orders to your front lawn. They are willing to spend one billion dollars to develop and implement the technology. You might not have learned of a project that involves driverless cars to do something similar. The mechanics of this program makes me wonder if we will see this before we have machines like the ones on the Jetsons cartoons fluttering around our neighborhoods.
