Hey Guys! Instruction Manuals are great, but there are other areas that we really do need them.

HEY GUYS!

There’s nothing more wonderful in making our lives easier, than having an instruction manual for everything that we build, repair or install.

But there are times that an instruction manual would be even greater to have. But unfortunately there isn’t one. For an example, there should be such a manual when it comes to dating.

For when it comes to dating for a guy, it is one of the most confusing events in our lives. For we never know what is going to happen, nor will we ever know what we are expected to do as well as no matter how many times we date. Mainly because each date we go out on, is a complete mystery to us and yet the same situation will arise from them. Or as to how well it well it turns out, or if we ever see her again.

For instance, you spent the whole day with a friend working on his car. You get downright greasy and dirty, right? Then you just happened to look at your watch and saw that it is almost time to pick up your date.

You head home to shower, maybe shave and then put on some clean clothes. After maybe about an hour at the most, you’re ready to pick up your date and go out for dinner. But….

As for the girl, they have been busy all day getting ready for the date tonight. First she went to her hairdresser, to have her hair done in a special way. In the meantime, she’ll maybe have a manicure and possibly a pedicure as well. Then after all that is done, she’ll go shopping.

You see, she noticed the day before that she just don’t have a thing to wear for the date (she has half of a department store in her closet, and yet she doesn’t have a thing to wear). After an hour or two or three, she then heads home to finish getting ready for her date. For there’s a shower, makeup, and putting her new outfit on (but she ends up wearing something else that’s from her closet).

Now you arrived to pick her up, but to your surprise she’s not ready yet. For she changed her mind as to what she is to wear and changed into a different outfit. Then she has to redo her makeup and fix her hair. After about a half hour or so, she’s finally ready to go and that also when the fun is about to begin.

Now the two of you are sitting in the car, and you asked her a question that you will regret asking before the date is over.

“Where would you like to go eat?” As you asked the dumbest question you’ll ever asked. Then her response is, “I don’t know, wherever you want to go is fine with me”. Yeah right.

So as you drive away, you’re thinking of all the good places to eat that you have been. You’re also thinking of the cheapest place and that it still serves a good meal. You then smiled and turn the car into the direction, of where you know serves a great meal and with a nice atmosphere about it.

As you arrived at where you know, that serves the juiciest burgers in town. One of your favorites places, a local sports bar. But guess what happens next?

“What are we doing here?” She asks as you parked the car. You then reply, “They have the best and juiciest burgers in town.” As you turn the car off. “But I don’t want to eat here.” She states as she folded her arms and stared straight ahead. “But you said….” Was your reply before you were interrupted. As she says “I don’t want to eat here, let’s go somewhere else.”

Then again, you have to ask the dumbest question, “Then where do you want to go eat at?” Again her reply is, “I don’t care where we go, so long as it is not a bar”. Then you begin to think of another place to go, as you put the car in drive.

As you pulled into the parking lot of your next choice, (a truck stop) and begin to park the car. Your date looks at you, as if you just committed the biggest sin in life (in reality, you did).

“What are we doing here? I don’t want to eat here”. She asked as you turned the car off.

Calmly you turn to her and said, ”look I asked you where you wanted to go, and you said that you didn’t care”. She then gives you the “stare” (the kind that sends chills down your spine) as she says, “I know what I said, but I don’t want to eat here either”.

You then turned the car around and as you leave the parking lot, you then started to think again. As you drive on while being frustrated and hungry, an idea came to you along with an evil grin  upon your face. The two of you then arrived at the place where the girl lives.

“What are we doing here?” She asks. You then turned to her and say, “This is where you are eating tonight”.

She then gets out of the car and slams the door, as you began to drive away. For all you can think about, is going to where they serve the best juiciest burgers in town.

As you can surely see, an instruction manual would have prevented a lot of these problems. Wouldn’t you agree?
