Definitions and philosophical meanderings.

THE COSMOS.

The universe is a struggle for equilibrium.
  Order is balance.

Sometime peace can only be found on the other side of war.

Lightening always seeks the ground, craving to distribute itself evenly…
offering its entire being to every grain of sand.
…Obliteration...

Inhale… Exhale
We’re Living and Dying

CREATION
DESTRUCTION
IT TAKES TWO TO MAKE ONE
LOVE IS THE UNION
THAT CREATED THE SUN

True Love.

True Love has no laws, it makes no demands, it keeps no record of wrongs, it requires no sacrifice. It is itself a sacrifice, a stripping away of the ego along with all of it’s fears and insecurities. It tells no lies. It always sings the truth in its song. Only Love will set us Free…nothing in between you and me. Love is forever. It needs nothing. It stands, naked and vulnerable, real beyond any need to justify itself or prove its authenticity. It stands alone, without judgement, without conditions,

Faith.

I guess sometimes hope can be a curse and faith can lead you in circles in the desert for 40 years. Be careful what you wish for…and even more careful about what you believe in. To have faith is to place your entire weight on one thing

Visions.

Visions are shadows from behind the curtain that separates the ephemeral from the temporal, the holy place from the most holy place. They are mediators between conscious and unconscious, soul and mind. They are metaphors illustrating deeper truths. Nature itself is a vision, a puppet show, a reflection as in a mirror, an image thru a stained glass…”Now I see but a poor reflection…then I shall see face to face, now I know in part, then I shall know fully even as I am fully known.”-Apostle Paul

Passion.

Passion is the essence of life. Love exorts us to abandon self-control and surrender to Desire. Justice demands that we allow ourselves to be consumed by our anger. Passion is what makes us Human. We cannot know hate without first experiencing love, we cannot know sorrow without a knowledge of Joy…to be alive is to dance with the shadows. To feel is to be free. The enemy of Passion is fear. Religion is a construct of fear, an invention of men who are afraid of their own shadows, afraid of their own human nature and nature itself. Passion is salvation. The renunciation of Passion is a chilly icy death. The essence of God is Passion.

Commitment.

Commitment is over-rated.

Your better off committed to a mental institution than to be committed to something that’s driving you crazy.

…Bitches be trippin.

Power.

It seems to be the intrensic nature of man to exert his will over his immediate surroundings, attempting to dominate the earth, subjecting his outward environment to suit his inner-most needs and desires. Archetecture, cultivation, husbandry, and technology are examples of his enterprise. Man possesses the power to carve and sculpt the landscape to serve his purposes. Modern society has seen this phenomenon at its most maniacle of ends.
Mans’ addiction to domination is a violent reaction to a hopeless and overwhelming feeling of powerlessness. Mans’ quest for everlasting life, the pursuit of status, wealth, power, and the protection against the fragility of his mortality lays waste to the land and leaves the dead scattered. The lust for power and control is always rooted in fear.
Fear is the illusion of powerlessness. Letting go of our fear and the desire to dominate, the need to control and manipulate, sets us free to realize our own inner power. When we learn to channel our energy effectively we can involve ourselves directly in the the flow of nature instead of struggling against it. Instead of drowning ourselves in fear we can rise above it, riding the wave of consciousness and freedom we follow a path that may seem predestined by some outside force but in actuality this force is both within and without.
With the awareness of this flow comes a new perspective on reality itself and what our role is in the universe.
Every step is in it-self important, every glance, every chance encounter is significant. Every moment becomes sacred.
There is no fear in the flow. There is no submission to any outside authority or “higher power” involved in the flow. There is only an awareness of unity with all that is and an acknowlegement of free will. The awareness of these two vital truths unlock the potential for limitless possibilities. Self awareness and self-control are the keys to power.

Truth will remain unwritten.

The kings of the earth rule over the people with an iron rod, with force and coercion they demand a reverence and respect that is reserved for divinity, but they are devils posing as angels of light. Their authority is false and their laws are arbitrary, their kingdoms are made of castles of sand the tide of reason will soon wash away…but alas, new temples will be constructed from the remnants of the old, the rocks that have been reduced to sand will be mixed with mortar and turned into stone again. The law will be written on tablets of stone only to be thrown from the mountain and broken and rewritten again… But, Truth will remain unwritten. You can carve your laws in stone, but the rocks will cry out…Truth is Love. Love is an omnipresent, unfathomable spirit, it lives and moves transcending form and substance, it cannot be contained, defined, or explained.

Truth

“Words are but finite organs of an infinite mind, they cannot cover the dimensions of what is Truth.” –Emerson.
Think! Free yourself from the prison of some-one else’s mind. Educate yourself with observation and experience; leave the biased propaganda for the weak and simple. Do not adopt the doctrines of other men as your own.

Truth is three-dimensional and must be experienced in order to be fully known. A second-hand account is only one-sided and subject to miss-interpretation. The creativity of our life’s work, our every action and word is a product of our perspective of Truth. Our beliefs dictate how we live our lives.

If our beliefs are borrowed from another man we live falsely. The light cannot shine thru us as long as we stand in the shadow of another. We will forever be a monotonous echo, a reflection of someone elses’ beauty, until we step into the light and seek out our own salvation with fear and trembling, leaving behind our oracles, prophets, and sacred texts.

We will never know Truth until our first-hand experience surpasses our second-hand knowledge. Truth is alive. It lies beyond trifling words and transcends scientific and mathematical formulas. It is not known by those who claim to have found the end. It is known by we who wonder…and wander… perusing it to the end of ourselves.

The line of Defence.

It seems that when we think for ourselves we end up alone one the street, muttering to ourselves in a dark corner…or maybe that’s just me. From childhood we are programmed to think a certain way, to act a certain way, to look a certain way. Anyone who is not living according to the way that society dictates will soon find a law passed to control their behavior. There are people being incarcerated for asking someone for a quarter or smoking a joint. The world is not fair. It is what it is, and as it is so be it…Right? Accept the way the world turns and fall in line or stick a shot-gun in your mouth and pull the trigger…Right? OR, there is this crazy notion…REVOLUTION!
Truth is we have the power to change the world! We can, we must, and we ought. Every man has his moment of truth where he puts his foot down, draws a line in the sand and defends that line with his very life. Every man must draw his own lines, write his own laws, and live his own life. A man lives by the word he writes and sometimes he dies by the words he writes. The warrior prophets wrote their letters in the blood of their oppressors. They spell FREEDOM!

The Empress.

The Empress rules over man with a rod of iron

like a dog she trains him to bow down to her in worship and adoration

longing only to lick her pink flower and drink the essence of its honey.

The Empress hates nothing more than a free man.

She longs to lead him astray

like a dog by the neck she drags her prey into her lair

she wraps her legs around him like a black, black widow

She’ll sink her fangs into your jugular

She’ll suck out your soul and embalm you with wax

leaving you an empty catacomb of nothingness.

The further you bend over backwards for a bitch the deeper she fucks you up the ass in the end.

Treat her like a queen and she’ll use you like a pawn.

She is a vampiress, she wants you to bleed just like she does every full moon.

bow down and pledge you allegience, make your sacrifice

She wants you to bleed and die for her, to shed blood in her name.

She wants your heart. She needs your soul.

The Moment Is Now.

Pulling in…creating a space for myself…Solitude…Reflection…Taking time in the moment to remember the cycle of history that has led me to this very moment. This moment of NOW is a mark on the arc of a circle…I am suspended between the past and the future..HERE is the spot on the sphere. I am here and now. This is where the universe has led me and this is where I shall be until the cosmos urges me elsewhere. To BE in the present is to see the whole sphere…the entire circle represented in a micro-cosmical caricature which is this present moment of NOW. This moment contains both the past and the future in the present. The past does not exist as the past anymore. It has been encompassed in this moment. The remnants remain in a different form. The temple has been rebuilt from the ruins of the old. The future has not yet been written.

Oppression and Freedom.

Oppression refines a mans character and hones his spirit. He learns to worship his freedom, forsaking all vice and false authority. He lives and dies for it, he fights for it and surrenders it to no one. He proudly and boldly stakes his claim over his own body, mind and soul; aknowledging Self as a parcel of the Divine Whole.
When a man acknowledges his unity with the universe while being aware of his individuality he learns the essence of power and the infinite possibilities of his free will. He is a parcel of the creator. He is the creator and the creation simultaneously, containing the same life energy, composed of the same elements. The same spark of life that makes the sun shine is the same spark of life that makes his heart beat. The friction btwn Love and Fear… the interaction of positive and negative forces…Energy in motion…Life perpetuates itself… Flowing and crashing like water, swirling and blowing like the wind, burning alive from the inside out, emitting rays of Love and Light, flowing like a river to the infinite sea, waves crashing and receding against the perimeters of the shore…

Job Description.

An artist must possess certain leisure, a sort of detachment from the world in order to observe it from a third person point of view and creatively confess the truth, piercing thru orthodoxy and illusion. This leisure must not be construe d as laziness, for the muse does not lend herself to idle hands

Unwilling Messiah.

When a man dares to express himself, power is unlocked and the masses flock to him. He becomes a hero, willing or not he is carried into the public square the road before him paved with palm frawns and the cloaks of men, no matter how loud he protests he is crowned king of the land and placed on a pedestal in the center of town. Organizations are formed with his namesake and his thought becomes religion.
People need a Messiah, a scapegoat, someone to validate the in discrepancies between their ideals and reality, an excuse to believe, courage to have hope and a vision for a better life, Faith that there can be a better world.
The temptation of the unwilling hero is to believe the mass of men instead of him-self. Deep inside he knows that he is not the Messiah but a part of him wants to believe the lie. But once he believes the lie he is at once its captive and the lie gives birth to lies until the man has lost himself in himself and is reduced to an illusion.
A man cannot be separated from his expression. Though he renounce it with curses and burn the books he has written what he once spoke in the light will be echoed through the canyons of time forever more and he will be forced to recapitulate his immortal words for all eternity.
A man is wise when he realizes that the truth that has been revealed to him is a truth that resides inside us all.

The Character In The Mirror.

The ego is an illusion. It is an idealized image of ourselves that exists only in our minds. The ego is a character in a play. We are all students of this stage. Are we memorizing lines, trying to dance in time to the rythm and the ryme? …Or are we writing our own script and mending our own costumes? “What a man thinks of himself, that is which determines, or rather, indicates his fate.” Thoreaux said that. “As a man thinketh, so he is.” I can’t remember who said that…google it. We all choose our own role. whether it be the king or the peasent, The master or the slave…
The ego is a reflection of who we imagine ourselves to be, who we aspire to be is what we become. Who am I? I am I. to be self…pure self…is to be alone. Only when we are alone do we take off our mask and our costume and slip out of that role, whatever it may be, and become truly ourselves.
Are we puppets? Outward manifestations of some omni-present puppet master in the sky, or are we masters of our own fate? Are our hands instruments of our own free will or are they subject to the whims of some Omni-present puppet master in the sky?

With Nothing But A Dream.

A man is born into the world naked and helpless with nothing but a dream, a glimpse of who he is, a shadow of what he is to become. As his life progresses his dream is buried, gradually beneath the weight of the world. If he is weak, his dream is crushed beneath the load and he is forced to stumble into the mold. If he is strong, he learns to throw off the weight and strip away the fetters that bind him, often leaving him again, naked and helpless with nothing in his hands, grasping his dream and never letting go. Deep down, we are all naked babies with nothing but a dream.

The Choir Master Of The Mind.

Music is a medium

a portal

channelling energy from within and without

drawing from the gyration of the spheres.

Where there is Peace

it flows like a river to the sea

but where there is chaos

a minor chord is struck

and the chorus is dissonance.

Rythym, Harmoney and Ryme

within a measure of time

the dance of notes around a beat

spaces between sublime

The empires are built and destroyed to the melody and time

of the Choir Master of the Mind.

Aquarius.

He who gives with the purest heart inherits the sun…the sun is life that gives birth to all things…all things given or received are from the sun…the sun is the beginning and the end of all things…from the sun comes all things and to the sun all things return…the age of aquarious is nigh, the revenge of the waterboy…he will overturn the tables of the money changers…Death and Life are not in the power of the tongue but in the Sun and the water.

Democratic Dilemmas and Divine Inspiration (A Kindle Short) by Aberjhani

Democratic Dilemmas and Divine Inspiration examines the significance or relevance of the idea that the U.S. Constitution was, as many believe, divinely inspired. How much did that belief matter to founders of the nation and how much does it matter no
