In the light of further acceptances, the astonishing truth emerges that the animalistic ABC’s inside us are ne’er far from the surface, and the berated falsehoods that tame us into submission are only there to subdue this inner beast. Observing the childhood fronds of leaf-bearing ferns of my prehistoric past, leering into an ancient and archaic style of learning, which was unlearned at the earliest opportunity, allows us to fathom that oldest religious experience of all, that of being born and reborn into a new place and time; if only  to fade into oblivion in the Monday morning light of this reality again and again.  

The phrenology of the skull that used measurements to determine character and other traits of human nature should have been directed to determine if the number and locations of the knots on one’s head could be called into question concerning the faithlessness inside us as a warting of our own inner beauty and loveliness. The more we are attired in the psychology of random acts being at the heart of reality, and less the mathematical garb of cause and effect of Sir Issac Newton and his mechanistic interpretation of the universe, then the more we shall be able to cast off the culpability for our own actions.

Even if God is not God there is still physics. Newton's Third Law of Motion states that for every action (force) in nature there is an equal and opposite reaction. Therefore nothing beyond this reality, still leaves this physical reality and some might even entertain a Karmic payback. The Beatle's said, "The love you take is equal to the love you make." I'll take my chances on that statement and let God figure out if our steps are numbered or just risky business left to the fall of the quantum dice.

Smooth operators we are indeed, convincing ourselves and others that the shadows we perceive as real and the mind-games we play with ourselves are proof that the objectivity of reality is a subjective psychoses of thousands of years of Christianity and Buddhism all wrapped up in a neat little package of denial and determined to become a chrysalis of bald-face lies we tell and tell till the day we die. Hence, we stay safely cocooned from the influences that might otherwise free us from hopping blindly from one lily-pad to the other in hopes of finding the one containing just the right balance and tonal essence to make us feel like we did in the womb, warm and safe and well fed, with no trouble or fear ever yet known to our conscience still-born minds.

Delightful and distracting as these romps into the voodoo of the human condition can be, there can be no doubt that to remain in the simple darkness of childhood reality is both stimulating and comforting to our senses, guaranteeing that we will pass this way again, if only to meet in future versions of ourselves still trying to fit a proper balance to the scale of our lives. The measure of our hearts and minds  is ever relying on a mystical vivid time that we all want to revisit but scarcely can ever approach again.

Truth, an inescapable condition of the mind that escapes us. Let it be. All is in all, Huxley implied. That is enough for me to know for now. Sleep beckons me to other worlds. Cherish it lightly not, dear ones. Sleep and dream sweet fantasies come real and never look back again. Enter the doorway of enlightenment that is calling you, away, a-way, a-w-ay, a-w-a-y...my friend.
