All the craziness in the US can be summed up with one word: drugs.
So, once again, within what? a week? of the last shooting and two weeks of the one before that, yet another drug addled teenager is in the news for threatening to shoot up a school. Dem activist Rebekah Jones' son posted, this, one of many messages before being arrested:
"Okay so it’s been like 3-4 weeks since I got on my new antidepressants and they aren’t working but they’re suppose to by now so I have no hope in getting better so why not kill the losers at school."
And some people are like, OMG!. Well, why? The kid is all hoped up on powerful mind altering drugs from the doctor that causes as many mental issues as they 'solve'. And the process by which they work was proven last year to be garbage and unknown and many scientific papers regarding them were deemed faulty, meaning those drugs are untested, unproven, and lied about like so many other pharmco drugs such as Covid vaccines (killing people can causing new strains), opiates (causing people to be pieces of garbage that'd rob you for a quarter), Gabapentin (destroys neuron connections and causes dementia, and dementia just happens to have 'becoming illogical and violent' as associated conditions), and all other anti-whatevers (which cause what they claim to fix along with psychosis and behavioral changes). So these things are being handed out like candle, including to youngsters who are affected in even more unknown ways, and then people want to claim 'guns' are the problem. You can't make this up with a million monkeys and two million typewriters.
Guns did not write the scripts these people are high on. Guns did write FB and Twitter posts about killing people. Guns did not argue that this behavior can somehow be justified. People did that and only people can do that. To assign any of these actions to an inanimate object that doesn't have addictions associated with it is beyond silly. It's an argument for drugs is what it is.
Drugs are causing these issues just like drugs caused the 140k ODs last year. No herbs. Due to Federal law, people have forgotten what a 'drug' is. A drug is anything that's processed to have an effect. Period. Regardless of what Federal law says, Aspirin is more of a drug than marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms, and peyote by definition. However, Delta-8, the Amanita mushroom extracts now available, and anything else processed with anymore than drying or water/alcohol extraction is a drug. Drugs aren't things sold on streets. Everything given out by a doctor is a 'drug' and these drugs are causing social upheaval, murders, suicides, and other social disturbances while people making money off them and high off them want to blame nearly everything else. Let's not all forget the face eating epidemic caused by 'bath salts' a few years ago if you want to see the power of drugs. Look at the people rotting from Tranq (Xylazine) use right now if you prefer drug zombies over drug face eaters.
Anyone that thinks we should 'disarm' ourselves because of a few nuts on drugs with mental issues doesn't understand the concept of defense or why you should be ready to shoot or shank nuts on drugs with mental issues at a second's notice when called upon to do so. The issue isn't guns, the issue is drugs, drugs, drugs, and drugs. Nuts will only use other methods if they can't get a gun. It's also the enablers and the doctors and pharmco execs pushing them, but there's not any highly addictive, behavioral changing enablers out there that I know of, so drugs should be the target.
At this point, the last two widely reported (actually did shoot up a place) and two lesser reported people (who were arrested over threats), making four in three weeks who've threatened to or did shoot up places. All four were either known to be on drugs or were highly suspected of being on drugs because they were 'trans and seeing doctors for mental issues', which means they were almost certainly on some sort of drug. I won't even get into how all the anti-gun rhetoric is currently coming from the side who's pushing the drugs and craziness. If you want to live in LA or NY and have to fight off predators and human garbage 24/7 because they're letting murderers out of jail, then move your butt there, because everyone else has the right not to deal with dangerous people on drugs and with mental issues constantly. That means the guns stay, or whatever other weapon you prefer. I prefer sharp, pointy things that make people piss their pants and that don't attract too much attention, because if I'm forced to use it, I don't want interrupted, know what I mean? The point is that people should not and fundamentally will not accept the victim status that's being pushed on them and becoming a permanent victim starts with being unable to defend yourself. I'm for US wide open carry. Not even recommended, required, along with training. You know why the 'Wild' West wasn't so wild and you only hear the same half dozen stories repeated over and over and over? Because people don't get too 'wild' when they know anyone around them can pull a weapon out and put a stop to their rampage. This basic fact is also why you hear of so few delivery people being robbed. We aren't supposed to carry weapons. But reality on the ground says we'll mess someone up eight ways form Sunday if they try to rob us and no one will say crap to us for whatever we use to defend ourselves. This is the model for a peaceful society, because human's are fundamentally animals and have to have the threat of violence, death, damnation, or huge reward to stay in line, for the most part. This is literally why churches and jails exist: they're here to help those who know no better to try to be good people. Life is a 24/7/365 carrot and stick situation. Go for the carrot so someone doesn't beat you with a stick. Even Budweiser has figured that out by firing their entire marketing team.

The so-called, socialist democracies, have much fewer incidents of violent acts (they still do) than we have in this country. You certainly can't ignore the power of the gun manufacturers, growing wealthy through several unnecessary wars, who want to continue high profits during times of peace. Unfortunately, people find that even their local news describing the latest horror that took place in the neighborhood will cause them to run out to buy guns for their "protection." There were several gun shops and only one elementary school where 23 children and teachers were killed.
By making drugs illegal like we did with prohibition, we have destroyed many countries south of the border and created a whole lifestyle around cartels and gangs where weapons with high firepower are the tool of the trade. Murder is the way to wealth and power. We have created the monster with drugs, guns and using false claims of "cure" for any kind of pain or apparent weakness, particularly in children.
I have lived a great life totally drug-free, except for alcohol, perhaps the most dangerous drug. But I always drank in moderation and felt good, never felt angry like I saw my father back in the good old days when he had a high-paying Teamster truck driving job. And during those good old days there was all kinds of murder, rape, incest, bullying, sexual harassment and assault going on that wasn't reported and never got out of the neighborhood. The biggest difference between then and now. Crime was much more prevalent, but unreported and often swept under the rug rather than being prosecuted.
Thirty years ago, my muscle spasms and loss of ability to walk required a drug called baclofen. I'm still taking the same dose I was given then. My spasms have not been "cured" but I'm not ready to face those spasms without that drug. And then in 2017, after experiencing three blood clots, I have been taking xarelto, a blood thinner. Like blood thinners have helped my brother and my father with replaced heart valves, and my mother with diabetes and swollen legs until she reached 95. But the last thing I would ever take would be an opioid no matter how much a doctor would claim it would ease my "pain."
I applaud you for part of the story. But I find you writing a one-sided rendition. Particularly, while claiming that the Covid vaccine was dangerous, while the facts show just the opposite. But sometimes, people believe the rumors from anecdotal accounts and not real statistics.
