JUST VOTE... PLEASE DON'T MAKE EXCUSES ....
The lines are long.... it may be cold....or maybe wet and raining.... or you may get tired of standing.....or have the kids because you couldn't get a sitter....so... remember to take some bottled water, a few little snacks....and...your determination to hang in there until you pull that lever and make your vote count!!!!
Whoever wins will have the hardest job that any new President has had to face in decades... Whether or not he is the one we hoped to win ... this is OUR country...OUR nation...and... we must support him and be strong in helping to keep working toward rebuilding our beautiful country again. I don't have a crystal ball...so I cannot know who will win; all I know is I voted... because I love my country, no matter how hard times may have befallen it.. We are a united nation... a united people... and we will stand tall as always.
Obama's grandmother passed away today; and for whatever the reason....she will not be present to see her beloved achieve his goal to win the highest position in our land...nor will she have to be here to help him through the disappointment if he doesn't make it, after all his determination. I pray for him and his family.
McCain has also worked very hard to win this position that he's coveted for many years....and I have to give him my respect for not giving up...for remaining strong and striving to achieve his dreams. I pray for him and his family as well.
Mainly.... I pray that we will become stronger and more committed than ever to continue to be the most beautiful and respected country in this world... Together we can do anything...and we have done it over and over in the past...
I wish you a great day tomorrow, and encourage you to vote your heart and conscience... this is one time that WE can count...that WE can determine our leader... that WE can stand without feeling that "we were never asked whether we want this or that in our country...."
Be safe tomorrow... and may both men be safe as well.
