As I sit here eatin' my grits and eggs, yes together, and thinkin' about all those "cotton" fields back home in Georgia, I had a mental picture of AMERICA.
What we are seeing daily on news media (which truly needs to be a tv turn off), (I personally am now a PBS viewer if anything) is something I liken to unruly children, spoiled brats, as we country folk like to call them, who have finally pushed the parents to the limit and are in the process of being disciplined (not with 'time out' or 'go stand in the corner'), but rather with a switch or a belt. (Oh no! Some of these entitled, damaged parents from those days can't even fathom that from themselves to their children, as they themselves had to go to counseling to get past their past when Daddy was the authoritarian and would beat the s*** out of you for misbehaving). 
What happened? Daddys disappeared from the picture, while moms had to work 2 and 3 jobs to make ends meet. Where's the children??? Becoming more than brats now...They're rapists, and thieves, and murderers. 
Then we wonder WHY America is in the shape She's in? Look in the mirror.
King Solomon, the wisest man who ever lived stated in Proverbs 29:15:
15 "The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame."
Dear Lord, how many knew that was in the good Book? Or how many forgot that was in the good Book?
America has wearied from compromise. We can no longer "grin and bear it"...it's time for some hardcore action.
In steps, by a whopping 63,000,000 plus votes, Mr Donald J. TRUMP, now President Donald J. TRUMP, the 45th! :-)
A man known by countless millions as a self-made billionaire, an American entrepreneur who knows the American law and how to work it better than most of his critics, especially those liberals who barely have a 9th grade education and undoubtedly couldn't pronounce half the words in our Constitution...but know how to play!!! And of course, his now hated phrase, "YOU'RE FIRED!" :-)
While highly favored among the elites when he was building his 30+ years empire, hobknobbing with the rich and famous, doling out money to support their money making projects and schemes (regardless of their color or religion or job titles), now he is a racist, a fascist, or whatever other "ist" the media can conjur up.
And as #44 loved to say, "Make no mistake about it", but he never divulged this speculation of mine, that all this hoopla against #45 is fattening many pockets with "oily palms" Middle eastern money, rich lobbyists and Soros affiliated craigslist job offers...for those who stand around with their hands in their EMPTY pockets just looking for another 'handout'.
Yes, a new Sheriff is in town, and the millions of Patriots and true blooded Americans who agree with the Sheriff, are poised for the next chapter. 
It's time to take discipline to the next level.
Once it begins, not only Washington, wealthy antagonists and fence jumpers, but these men who identify as women so they can let their perversions loose, are in for a rude awakening.
It's going to be worse than Sodom and Gomorrah...
President Trump says what he means and means what he says, people! If you haven't realized that yet, then don't close your eyes in the coming months.
No matter how much word spewing, FB postings, Twitter vehemence, etc. are directed at the Trump Adm, the bottom line is HE IS THE ELECTED PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, and he intends with every ounce of his being to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! In so doing, there's going to be a lot of weeding out, not just Washington swamp draining, fallout, and yes, death, but in other arenas of "life as we knew it".
Like a song line says, "you don't know what you've got til it's gone".
It's coming.
The American people who have been stupified (a word my HTA Book club students have learned), or dumbed down while supposedly progressing, through electronics which relieve them of thinking for themselves or digging up facts to disprove lies, coddled, given free stuff, and mind you this has been going on since the LBJ era...are now reaping the consequences.
Social media, predominantly Mark Zuckerberg's swift stealing of FB before his buddies could patent the concept, has now connected the whole world on the web, and nobody has secrets or privacy anymore. 
Two Steves founded the ever growing Apple sensation, notably their trademark is an apple missing a bite! Think this has any correlation to mother Eve???
Yes, we have become educated idiots.
So, I guess I've given you my honest observations and perhaps a little bit of warning, again.
