This information is from the Investor’s Business Daily and should be of interest to those that are slobbering and clapping their hands over Obama’s plan to socialize America’s health care system. These stats compare our, I would say, vastly superior system to those of England and Canada.
This is from a survey by the United Nations International Health Organization.
**** Percentage of men and women who survived a cancer five years after diagnosis: U.S. 65% England 46% Canada 42% Percentage of patients diagnosed with diabetes who received treatment within six months: U.S. 93% England 15% Canada 43% Percentage of seniors needing hip replacement who received it within six months: U.S. 90% England 15% Canada 43%
Percentage referred to a medical specialist who see one within one month: U.S. 77% England 40% Canada 43% Number of MRI scanners (a prime diagnostic tool) per million people: U.S. 71 England 14 Canada 18
Percentage of seniors (65+), with low income, who say they are in "excellent health": U.S. 12% England 2% Canada 6%
Hey, you may, but I do not want "Universal Healthcare" comparable to England or Canada .

I don't know about the survey but I do know I am a Canadian and I do receive excellant healthcare, I am also a diabetic and a heart patient and low fixed income (disability pension) and I consider myself truly fortunate to have medicare each time I have to walk through my doctor's door.

Unfortunately, the “people” we sent to Washington have sold their souls for money and power. Say what they will, they care for no one…other than themselves.

'Nuff said, although much has been said, but the propaganda is a ongoing, treacherous bulldozer coming to each and every one of us with their lies in concert with the friggin' global warming nuts.
From the land of the milked and honeyed here’s a few political faux pas and a bit of attitude exposed to the harsh light of a Canadian who actually has their own opinion.
According the ‘World Health Organisation‘ The U.S stands 31 in the World – not exactly the best place to be!
