Sex is a gift of God’s creation put in place to be enjoyed by man .It is meant to be used for reproduction of human species. The oxford learner’s dictionary defines sex as the physical activities between two people in which they touch each other sexual organs, and which may include sexual intercourse. This definition by the oxford learners dictionaries though provide good definition on which we can describe sexual activities have also become a product of limitation and trap for humans to abuse the term sex .

Sex a gift of God to man is meant to be enjoy .Nevertheless; it can also be abuse like every other gift given to man by God if sex as a concept from God is miss-placed by man. there is a vital part of sex that have been ignored over the ages and this have led to sexual abuse and pervasion of the worst kind you can imagine and none of this form of pervasions is new, they have only gain more publicity and spread their venom to billions of the inhabitant of the earth.
Since sex is the main stream of human reproduction, you can imagine what happens when the source of human recreation is abuse-your guess is as good as mine-people of pervert mind we be created.

The mind which seems to have been ignored plays a vital role when it comes to sexual activities just like with every human activity. Sexual abuse and addiction all begins from the arena of the mind. This is why Jesus moves the gate post of sexual sin from sexual activities as defined by the dictionary to the human heart-when he says that he that conceives in his heart the desire to sleep with another man’s wife is already guilty of adultery. The all act of sexual pervasion from premarital sex, rape to the very act of infidelity in marriage and homosexuality is as a result of the thinking pattern of the individual.


The human mind

The bible tells us that as a man thinks so he is. The mind is the gate way to the human spirit. It regulates what goes in and out of the human spirit and determine the way we become. The mind-set of an individual that is not born again is completely different from one that is born again. The born again mind set is influence basically by the word of God as recorded in the bible while that of the former is influence by the various medium of communication he or she is expose to. This is why a Christian is said to have the mind of Christ. Let’s now look into the working of the human mind and how it influences sexual activities with the bible as our standard
The human mind is refers to the aspects of intellect and consciousness manifested as combinations of thought, perception, memory, emotion, will and imagination; mind is the stream of consciousness. It includes all of the brain's conscious processes
Your mind is a model of your world or what you will eventually become. Its operation falls within three basic operations:
• Receive information
• Analysis of past experience with the purpose of gaining insight for use at a later date.
• Simulations of future scenarios using existing insights in order to predict outcomes.
When insight is not subordinate to a validation discipline like obedience to the word of God pertaining to sex as contain in the bible, fallacious thinking can result in a confused mind leading to sexual pervasion ranging from lust to homosexuality. The mind is influence by other mind through the form of books and other media. Minds from the past are able to communicate their insights about cause and effect to present and future minds. When you read a book, listen to music or watch movies, you are practically subjecting yourself to the influence of the mind-set of the author, artist or actor.
Every activity begins from the human mind. To be free from sexual sin and addiction is to take control of your mind in areas that relate to sexual activities using the word of God. There are two basic gates to the human mind and they are basically the eyes and the ears while the third is the human flesh which receives body signals also but the two basic is the eye and the ears while the mouth is the link from the mind to the outside word so also is the human flesh. Our duty then will be to control the activity of the human eyes and the ears if we must control the mind. The bible advises us to guild our heart and I personally believe that the best way to guide a building is right from the gates because it could be a bit difficult to deal with an in house enemy.




Sexual crises

Let’s now look into the various forms of sexual abuse and addiction and see how the mind plays a fundamental role above any other form of influence.

Lust

I personally regard lust as the gateway to sexual abuse primarily base on the selfish nature associated with lust. Lust which is to desire anything in a compelling, cunning, luring and manipulative manner is associated to fleshly desire. lust manifest itself as wanting something basically for its physical appearance with disregard to his true value and respect for the other person identity. Let’s consider what the bible has to say relating to lust.

Romans 6:12-15
12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. 13 Neither yields ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. 14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

From both scriptures it is evident that any desire not is not associated with the fruit of the spirit as mentioned in Galatians chapter 5 and the attitude describe in Romans chapter 6 such desire can be rightly regarded as lust.







Masturbation

Masturbation which is the robbing of your sexual organ in order to gain sexual pleasure is also an act of sexual abuse when compare to the standard of God. This act can be highly addictive and often open the door way to unpleasant sexual pervasion like the very act of homosexuality.

When one is engage in the act of masturbation the signal receive by the brain is same as when having sexual intercourses, it is just that during this period you are receiving a sexual pleasure from the same sex which is yourself in this case and this attitude is no different from same sex having sexual intercourse. If this practice continues frequently there is more tendencies for the mind to accept it as normal even though your spirit may oppose from time to time every time you engage in the act. And after some time your mind accept the all concept of same sex sexual pleasure making the individual vulnerable to the life style of a homosexual as it is common among same sex school and in the military.

Fornication can be defined as the act of sexual activities between two people that are not legally married why the act of adultery is the occurrence of sexual activities between a married person and someone else that is not his or her legal spouse. fornication occurs when an individuals gives in to the desire of the flesh to consummate a passion that is outside the arena of marriage. Like every sexual sin and addiction it begins from the mind.
