Passion is empowering. You may bludgeon it, suppress it, squash it, or lose sight of it, but it is a given, a constant. Your passion is ready and willing to provide all the stamina and inspiration you need.

Passion is a word with different meanings pertaining to different circumstances. The passion i speak of is that of boudless enthusiasm and love that energizes people and moves them to greater heights. During these troubling times i wonder how many of us have lost our passion or even realized we had passion. Remember when we were kids and you couldn't wait to get home so you could play outside with friends; explore the woods, ride your bike, throw the ball around or wait for the ice cream man to pass down your street. That feeling was our passion. It invigorated and motivated us with excitement; our dreams and imagination were unlimited. No one could stomp on our dreams or quiet the inner voice that told us anything was possible. Even now when I write this i get all excited remembering those times. But we all know what happens; life and controlling forces begin to take hold and dominate our thinking; draining the energy and passion from our being until we no longer remember what our passion was.
If I asked you today, what excites you i bet most of you would not have an answer. Maybe now is the time to think back on your life and find those times when you were excited and passionate about living. Try to think of situations when you were bursting with enthusiasm and so focused on what you were doing that you lost all awareness of time. These might have been times when you were playing sports, working on a project or spending time with someone. For me skiing is my passion. I feel like a kid again everytime i hit the slopes. Fresh snow, blue bird days and majestic mountains is all i need to rekindle the child inside. Its this passion i look forward to every year and i am so thankful to have this in my life. That is why you need to do some soul searching to find the passion that motivates and excites you. Do not put fires on your passion like, I'm too old, it's just a dream, my job will not allow me to do it, there's no way, i don't have enough money...bla, bla, bla bla bla....we can always talk ourselves out of it by placing these detours in front of us but think back and remember when you were a kid......YOUR DREAMS WERE UNLIMITED AND DOUBT HAD NO CHANCE TO HINDER YOUR IMAGINATION
