How we can use our True Nature to help heal the world.

When something happens that is so catastrophic we look for a way to end the conflict in our own mind to find meaning where there is none. We look for a way to end our need to strike out to end the pain that exists in our heart and mind. We want those who are responsible to pay and we want to find a way to do something, anything that will place us on a firm footing when we feel the “rug has been pulled out” from underneath us.
As individuals we feel close to powerless against an evil force such as this, so we unite together as a nation to fight an “idea”, for in fact terrorism is an idea set into motion by a group of people that hold the lower idea of destruction as a way to fulfill a purpose of their own devise. What was is the purpose of such an act as terrorism? For in our own minds we can find no purpose for such a purpose that bring death and destruction to anyone it touches.
Because terrorism is an idea and in truth we cannot strike out an idea, we attempt to strike out against those that hold and act on the idea of terrorism. The question to be asked is; will killing people erase the idea of terrorism? Of course it can’t because killing individuals will not kill an idea of evil such as this. If it were possible to kill evil, it would have died when Hitler did. All of the power and might of America cannot even touch the idea of hate and fear that the evil of terrorism holds. So what are we to do? Are we powerless against the “idea” of terrorism? We do not want our children to grow up with the fear of the “idea” of terrorism or when it may possibly strike again. We want the idea of terrorism to end once and for all so the world can be a safe place and we never have to face this evil again.
Our country is made up of diverse beliefs, but within all of our own hearts the “idea” of love exists. We feel the pain of our fellow Americans who have lost loved ones. This empathy does not come from a religious ideal, but the very idea of Love itself and it is this that joins us together to find a solution and end for all time the evil of terrorism. Just as terrorism is an idea, so is Love, but Love has the ability to abolish terrorism because it is a higher ideal and does not adhere to the same Laws that terrorism must in order to survive. We have the ability to move beyond the insane notion that terrorism tries to strike into our heart by uniting with a purpose that does not conform to lower ideas. We think we do not know how to do this, but the truth is that we all have this ability but do not find a way to access it. Instead we think that by protesting an insane war or fighting one it will prove once and for all that physical might is right and those that do not adhere to the idea of physical might will have to suffer the consequences. What physical might does not do, nor does it have the capacity to do, is change the heart. The heart is where terrorism lives, but it is also where Love lives and Love is greater than fear. So now the question becomes how we can change the heart to one of Love instead of allowing the fear of an outside force to dictate where it is safe to go, live, visit or allow our loved ones to do the same. The changing of the heart from fear to love is a choice that we must all make eventually and because we do not know how, we can ask. Each of us has been presented with a Guide that dwells between the physical world and the eternal world. Jesus referred to the Guide as the Holy Spirit, but we are actually free to call this Guide whatever we choose. The important thing is that we learn to use His Guidance instead of relying on the motivation that lives in our own heart that points us in the direction of fear. Fear is of the intellect, and Love is of the Wisdom of God. Each moment of every day we are making the decision of what we will allow to dictate our feelings. It is either fear or love because of these two only one is real and only one can direct us to a place where there is not terror. To prove this to yourself, ask yourself the question; where would terror be if it did not originate within me first? If I did not feel terror first within my own body, would it be possible for it to exist in the world? Contemplate this question, for in it lies the answer to terrorism. In the answer to this question is the understanding that we all have a certain responsibility to make the right decision about what we are feeling, fear or Love. Because true Love does not originate from an individual, we will then learn how and where we can access this incredible Power that has the ability to heal the world.
We do this, not just for ourselves, but for all of mankind, so that this thing we call terrorism ends and never happens again anywhere in the world. To leave one country out would mean that we believe there is a person in that country that is not deserving of the healing effects of Love. Love from an individual level is not powerful enough, nor does it know how to perform such an act as healing the world, so we are being asked only to accept Love at an individual level and then not to interfere with It’s effects. Our interference is what keeps Love from healing the world. We do not know what is best for others, and when we force our ideas out of our own mind onto others, conflict is bound to erupt. This includes “sending” healing into troubled spots in the world. This is way out of our territory of understanding and is considered interference by Higher Levels of Understanding that could use the effects of individual healing to affect the world and bring it to peace. Higher Levels of Understanding know how to heal and bring peace into conflict. When we “send” healing into the world, our thoughts are not pure enough to heal anything, and the part of the world we are trying to send healing to may end up with our individual conflict instead. This is because our thoughts do not understand the concept of total Love, and total Love is what is needed to heal the problem. This may be considered an insult to us, but it is not meant to be. We are merely being asked to understand what is helpful and what is not. How we can offer assistance and how we interfere is our lesson now. We will never be asked to do something we do not know how to do. Instead, we are being asked to be concerned with our own individual healing so that the Love that is in that individual healing can be used to calm the increased tensions that are prevalent in the world today.
We have been given an opportunity to heal the world, but it will not happen on our terms. It will happen according to the terms that were spelled out at the time of the fall in the Garden of Eden. That Plan is still in affect, and it is up to us to align our mind with that Plan. Anything else on our part is merely interference. We want to be a part of something that is Greater than ourselves. We want to be a part of the healing of the world. We want to be a part of the end of terrorism. Choose to open your heart to Love, so Love can extend through you and give Itself to the world.
