The creative process begins in our own mind. If we do not understand our own creative process and how our mind works, our life becomes filled with what we do not want. We have the ability to change this.

The Mirror On the Mind

What we do not understand

There is much we do not understand about our own mind.  We live surrounded by this vast potential, and yet we do not understand how and why it works.  We have all heard about the potential of the mind, but we do not understand why we can only use just a small portion of what is allotted to us.  We just accept it and do not explore the vast space that seems beyond our scope of understanding, and therefore seemingly out of reach.  It is said that the greatest understanding that there is, is self understanding.  If this is the case, why are we so inept at moving out of the less than 10% of mind power that we have and into the vast 90%?  Wouldn’t our potential be greater, and wouldn’t we be able to take control or our lives and be better adept at creating a healthy, happy life?  It is said that each child that is born is a creative genius.  If this is the case, we have an awful lot of children and adults walking around that do not use live up to the creative genius they were born with.  Most of the time people walk around with a feeling of helplessness, either for themselves or for loved ones.  If we had the ability to tap into the other 90% of untapped resource, would it be possible to resolve the feelings of helplessness?   Is it possible that the solutions we are seeking cannot be found in the 10% we are working with?

This article is about the mirror on the mind.  The mirror on the mind is a spiritual gift that we were bestowed with at the time of creation, but as we passed from the spiritual realm into the physical realm we forgot the potential of this mirror because its evidence became lost through the application of understanding physical form instead of thoughts, which is what the mirror deals with.  Because of the potential of this mirror, we must reacquaint ourselves with this vital aspect of our being, for without a basic understanding of how this works, we unwittingly sabotage our best laid plans and become a victim of our own thinking.

Defining the mirror on the mind

The mirror on the mind is not anything that we can see with our physical eyes.  The mirror is how the creative process projects our thoughts onto the walls of time.  It works much the same as a movie projector in that the mirror reads our thoughts and then projects these thoughts into the realm of time where we experience our own thinking in the physical experiences we have.  This mirror also becomes evident in the seeming attitudes of others in that their mind has the ability to read the thought that is being projected off of our mirror and they act accordingly.  It could be said that one mind absorbs the thought and acts accordingly.  Thus, the thought, once projected, becomes our physical experience through the perfect manifestation or equation of our own thinking.  This does not seem to be so because we often time feel like a victim of what someone else is seemingly doing to us to make our life miserable.  But what seems to be happening and what actually is happening are two different things.  We all know that almost everything that is viewed only tells a partial story.  If we do not take the time to understand our own mind and how thoughts are processed, then we will be a victim of our own thought process without really understanding what is happening.  Understanding brings a certain responsibility and responsibility is how we take control of our own life.  Paying attention to our own thinking process also helps us begin to value our this process as we begin to watch our thoughts in motion, for as we begin to watch our thoughts we begin to see how they create our reality.

The mirror in spirit

Because we all employ this mirror in our spiritual existence, the proper use of the mirror is understood, which is to understand oneness.  In other words, when I look at another all I see is myself, so it is inconceivable to condemn someone else because I understand I would be condemning myself.  It is impossible to change the purpose of the mirror, and when we do not understand its function, we may believe that it is possible to cast blame on another without experiencing the consequences of that blame.  For instance, we all know what happens when we point a finger at a mirror.  The person we are pointing at is ourselves.  In time, because the mirror is not evident, we violate the mirror when the reflections of another are not particularly what may be consider good, so we point to their behavior.  In physical form, behavior is not disassociated from the individual, so it becomes an actual judgment on the being of another.  It is a misperception to believe that we can point a finger, regardless if it is behavior or something else, and escape the fundamental purpose of the mirror.  It is a fact that a mirror can only reflect, so what is seen is ones own reflection or judgment of ones own being.  This hardly seems possible because we do not believe ourselves guilty of the same “sin” that we perceive in another when their behavior does not live up to our expectations.

The Laws of Mind

We cannot escape the Laws of Mind.  They were created to protect us, but because of our physical experiences we believe we have the ability to live out of our being and in a place that does not reflect now, where God abides.  What this means is that our mind believes it has learned a new way of keeping track of data.  This new way of keeping data has to be in a place that does not reflect now, so it must reflect something else.  This something else is called time.  Time is how we violate the Laws of Mind by learning how to find value outside of ourselves.  In other words, by learning the laws of time we think we have the ability to move beyond our own awareness by making something we have no control over.  The idea that we do not have control is a belief that brings unhappiness and depression.  This concept is based on the idea of form, because in time all of our problems stem from the belief that there is form that we have to adjust to, so we are responsible for the form that we make.  The truth is that all form does not last and it is our emotional ties to form that cause the problems.

When we were born we did not understand the concept of time and we lived in the now.  We really didn’t understand that there was a possibility of another way.  This was what we brought with us from the spiritual realm.  As we became more acclimated to the idea of time, we began to accept it as real, and therefore the experiences we had were also considered real.  In effect, we began to look to time and form, so therefore our past experiences learned in time became our new way of dealing with what we now considered the present.  This is how the mirror in our mind became contaminated with the past that is held in time.  The past history of the world is contaminated with the well meaning misinformation that has been passed down from generation to generation.  At a very basic level we understand something is wrong, but we continue to use the mirror according to what we have learned in time because we do not know how to return our mind to the true present.  Once our mind has learned that there is meaning in the past, it will continue to overlook the present believing that its truth lies in an incorrectly learned past.  Our mind is so confused, that even when it is in contact with the present; it does not realize this and begins to try to find ways to associate it with the past that it has learned in time.  This moves the mind out of the place where there is safety and back into the endless shifting of time and space.

The mirror in the mind works perfectly despite our physical conditions.  When we do not understand how it works, we are apt to blame another, or perhaps God for our misfortune.  Because we are responsible for our own thinking process, that which is put onto the mirror is our own learning.  If we are not learning now, then we are learning from the past and we are receiving from another’s mirror the reflection that is coming off of our own.  We may believe that this incident or person that we are beholding in time does not have a reference to our past, but they don’t have to.  Because it is reflecting off or our own mind, they are merely giving back to us what their mirror “sees”.  When the mind is reflecting the past, regardless of what that past is, the true value of the mirror is lost because of its association to time.

If we bought a piece of heavy equipment and did not understand how to work it, and then went ahead and used it and got unfavorable results, would it be the manufacturers fault?  Of course not.  The truth is, we make the time to understand the things we find of value and we value ourselves less then what we spend our money on.  If we knew we had value we would make sure that we worked properly.  But the adjustments that we need are not the result of the money we spend, but instead what we have to learn is our own self value.  When we do not understand our own value we try to change things in time and this is not where real change occurs.  What has been done to our own value is so grotesque that we, as individuals do not want to look, so we blame.  Within our grasp is the ability to change the world by changing the mirror in our own mind.  In order to get our own mirror to work according to manufacturers directions, it is up to us to begin to make the adjustments.  We begin to do this with Help from the other side, or from Eternity.

If someone is drowning and we extend a hand and they refuse it, who is to blame if they drown?  Special provisions have been made for us at this time.  Heaven is leaning towards earth and extending Its Hand, but we have to take the Hand being offered.  Learning to live in time has taught us things that were never supposed to be learned.  It is now time to undo the past by learning that the mistakes learned in the past did not upset Eternity, and the mirror in the mind works like it always did.  The violations have to be removed so the mind will reflect Heaven’s Light into time.  Heaven’s Light is still there, but we have to look beyond the error and learn of our true nature.  This is the journey that we hear so much about.

If a Spirit that was evolved walked past your mirror, would you notice?  Chances are that which was recorded in time would take a front seat while the evolved Master would not even be noticed.  Now that we know that there is such a thing as a mirror in the mind, we have the opportunity to pay attention to what it is reflecting.  Because of the grave error that has been made, we are being asked to help the mind bring back awareness into the present where the mirror of the mind can work properly.  Consciousness is how we make the choice to direct the mind to safety.  Finding the error is also our responsibility.  The rest is done for us.

Our awareness is needed to help heal time.  By become aware of what you are thinking you will begin to recognize the patterns of your thought process and because it is only the thought process that can move past the mirror that creates.  Each individual is responsible for making the effort to heal the past that has been learned incorrectly in time.  To give another purpose to oneself is to escape the sacred agreement that was made before they stepped into the time arena.  The trumpet has sounded.  It is time to listen and see what is really there.
