Part Two
The purpose of evolution, from a spiritual perspective, has always been about advancing consciousness to a point that it could actively participate in its own advancement. The time has come for this to occur. Although this has taken millions of years, the conditions are now right. The Universe works according to right conditions. This leaves out the element of time. From a Universal perspective, time has little value, and this value is deteriorating every instant. The end of days signals the end of time. The end of time does not signal the end of the world, just a period of transition. From a Universal perspective, this is good news. From a physical perspective this means that a huge change is just around the bend.
It seems as though time determines how and when physical events will occur, so as a human species we have become dependent on time for physical reality. Without time, would events even occur? It may seem as though they wouldn’t but in fact there is another way of keeping track of time that does not include using a clock. This way of keeping time is greater than keeping time by using a clock. This will mean making a new investment in how time will be kept. The new investment will be according to the way time is kept at a Universal level. This will allow us to consciously understand our own relationship to the Universe, and how consciousness will play a role in the Universe as part of a whole. Learning to keep track of time by using universal time is far more interesting that clock watching. This is because the Universe is comprised of energy. As it is now, physical consciousness uses this energy mostly for unhealthy purposes, which works against Universal Integrity, as well as our own. By learning to work with Universal energy, consciousness will find that life is creative and much more fulfilling. Universal time will prove to have a greater advantage over the physical application of time for obvious reasons, and for more reasons than what can be noted here.
Universally, when conditions are right, change must commence. Before, whenever evolution occurred the process was thrust upon the world and it evolved. Universal Intelligence has always been well aware of the evolution of this world, and has been patiently waiting for the perfect Universal condition, which was written in the stars, to set into motion the next phase for evolving the planet Earth. Because of the advancement of past evolution, human consciousness is now ready to play an active role in its own advancement. This will take time to learn. Universal time is kept from a vertical position. A vertical position is a virtual reality, which means that everything that is happening must happen now, not in the future or the past. From a physical perspective, time is linear, which means it runs in a straight line, or from past to present, and then into the future. Linear time always drags the past into the present, and then presents the future with alternatives from past learning. This prevents any future event from being free from the past. Because the past is filled with war, it is impossible to introduce the value of peace into the present and future without the contamination of past wars. Linear time is therefore “out of touch” with a reality of peace.
Vertical learning can be likened to the sun. The sun carries the value of light. That there is wisdom in Light is a fact that cannot be argued. That Light shares this wisdom every day with this world is also a fact that cannot be argued. Even from an intellectual standpoint, it is known that if it were possible to harness the energy of the sun, the outcome would be beyond comprehension. The reason that the intellect cannot harness the energy of the sun is because it is not for the intellect to understand. However, it is for consciousness to understand, but before total understanding can occur, consciousness must evolve.
Vertical learning is quite different from linear learning, so the methods used to teach this are quite different than anything that has been learned intellectually. Because consciousness was home grown on the intellect, when it is perceived that the value in the intellect is being brought into question, an inner battle is bound to ensue. For this reason, the best way to handle this is to find a way around the intellect without engaging all of the barriers that have been instilled through physical learning. The lessons will seem to “insult” intelligence, and the inner voice that governs the intellect will promote vigilance against learning what is impossible to intellectual grasp. If the inner voice that speaks for the intellect is listened to, individual consciousness will not begin to move in the direction of advancing evolution; and if consciousness does not evolve, it will not survive the events that must occur when evolution takes place.
The lessons begin easily enough. They are designed to invite Universal energy, or vertical learning, into consciousness by making specific requests. Up until now, most self help books have targeted visualization, affirmations, and other means to change negative thinking to positive thinking. This has helped, but has not targeted learning how to first move energy, and then eventually learn how to master it. The lessons teach how to first request Help; then by using the Help that is provided, the individual learns exactly what works for him/her. The process is targeted to help define a problem, and then finding the energy that is blocking the answer. There is a saying that states self understanding is the greatest understanding there is. Learning this way, you will learn self understanding. You will also learn that the basic component of who you are is in fact energy. There is no greater feeling in the world than learning how to move an energy block so it is no longer preventing happiness and joy from being experienced.
Not everyone learns the same. By requesting Help and then learning how to hear the answer; Guidance will be able to direct individual conscious learning without wasting time learning something that does not work. Many have spent years attempting to use what has worked for others with no effect. If this step is eliminated, time is saved for what does work. This way of learning does not involve trial and error, although until one begins to understand their own inner communication ability, it may seem this way.
Learning how to make better requests will also teach how to be a better questioner. Asking a question at this level is not the same as asking a question from an intellectual perspective. When a question is asked at this level, if you do not understand your own question, you will not know when you have been answered. For instance, if you were asked what color the grass was from someone who was color blind. They may see the grass as blue. If you kept waiting for the answer green, and received the answer blue, the question and the answer would not align. This makes an unsettling feeling. Especially since the intellect already thinks it knows the answer before the question is asked. It does not.
Requests amount to what has been aptly named as Sacred Agreements. Sacred Agreements show that one is open and is requesting that the re-educating of consciousness begin. As one grows more accustomed to working with vertical learning by growing more accustomed to making requests by using Sacred Agreements, what is needed to evolve consciousness begins to dawn on the mind. What you are looking for, you will find. If you are looking for your truth, through this process, you will find it. All Sacred Agreements are Universally honored, as are you. You are valued because of who you are. Your own value must shift in your mind so your true value can shine through. As it is now, the value that is held for you is held in the intellect. The intellect is busy seeking externally for value, and because it is not there, you will not find it where it is not.
The process of learning is slow because strength is gradually gained from what is learned. The way to gain strength in anything is to practice it over and over again until it is perfected. Once the task is perfected, the value of the practice becomes evident. Learning to accept new value by practicing techniques taught at an inner level will prove the value of Sacred Agreements. The next article in this series will address Living Law. Living Laws are those that govern all of Creation. That these Laws are not valued by the physical world does not lessen their capacity. Physical consciousness has learned laws that do not conform to Living Law, and the opportunity to learn Living Law is being extended. Living Laws do not work according to what physical consciousness understands, so it is necessary to begin to introduce the Law into consciousness so it is not fearful.
