Do you have a blog? Do you always know what to write? Need some fresh ideas? Here are my top five blogging tips that I thought I would share with you:
1. Biz blogging idea: Promote your free event or product with a twist: instead of describing the offer…write the backstory. For example, what led you to create the event or product in the first place…were you going through something in your life that
inspired the idea? People are interested in how you generate your ideas.
2. Biz blogging idea: Promote a product you are selling by using a related famous quote: for instance my new
eBook featured inspired action: In my blog I used: “I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free” Michelangelo and then wrote about what the quote meant to me…then added a line at the bottom that reads…for more ideas on inspired action…click here ( include product link)
3. Biz blogging idea: Hold a themed week on your blog. All of your blogs for that week will contain the same theme and you can invite guest bloggers to respond to the writing prompt of the theme. I once asked top authors and coaches to respond to the prompt, “What does living joyfully mean to you?” I posted their responses and links to their websites and blogs. It was a win-win for everyone. I have also done the 12 Days of Christmas.
4. Biz blogging idea: If you are an affiliate, post your own personal testimonial about the product on your blog with your affiliate link…This works best, when it comes from the heart.
5. Biz blogging idea: Ask a marketing question. If there is something you want to know in your biz…blog about the question and ask your readers to respond. For example, in my life coaching practice, I might ask, “What is the one thing you think is keeping you from achieving your most important
goal(s)?”
