If someone were to ask you who are you, what would you say?
Teacher? Mother? Father? I think this is what most of us would say.
But let's take this a littel further- what are your skills? What do you
find hard to do? What do you like and not like? What do you see yourself
doing five years from now?All good questions, and ones that need to
be answered at some point. But I am asking you to go deeper.Very
deep.In fact take about two or three deep breathes and try and relax.
What is it in life that you desire the most?Don't answer this to quickly
and try not to let your ego get in the way. It can be a tricky little guy.My
guess is that it may have had something to do with feeling loved and
giving love. It is a basic need of all of us.We are meant to be loving. It
is the core of every human being. You might ask , what about hardned
criminals and people who seem not to be able to love. I don't know.
My best guess is that maybe they were hurt so deeply growing up that
they just didn;t have a chance to develop and nurture that love within
them, or of course a few people just don't have that in their mental and
emotional capacity. But very few. With that love within us I believe we
can nuture it and help it grow, or we can let it become smaller and
harder to find in ourselves.I think first we have realize we are loved.
For me it is God, my creator.Once I realized I was loved so deeply I was
able to share my love with others, and by sharing that love I was able
to strengthen the love within myself. It is a win win situation.
To get back to original question. Who am I? I would say someone who
is loved and tries each day to share that love with others. Is there really
anymore to say than that?
