Immersed in fables, myths and fairy tales recited by the matriarchs of her childhood, the cadence of ancient languages was engraved early upon Paula's young ears. The colorful tales of ancient authors entwined with the spoken Creole wisdom of parables and metaphors used to teach every day life lessons. These things inspired many oral fairy tales and poems she created and shared on Sunday evenings with her extended family.
During a literary learning experience with her students, the long ago cadence of authors longs dead, were woven together to produce the beautiful tapestry of language that rolls off the pages of Tales of the Winglord Kingdom.
