Some of us get fantastic guidance from our subconscious ALL THE TIME.
The problem is that we tend to ignore it, or even get angry.
Imagine this situation. You're sitting there, in your friends house. You tell your friend you're thirsty, and ask them to get you something to drink. But you don't say what.
Your friend goes into the kitchen, and tries to remember the last thing she saw you drinking. She comes back with some lemonade.
You yell at her like she's an idiot, saying you wanted iced tea.
Or you look at her like she's an idiot, don't say anything, and don't drink the lemonade.
Truth is this is EXACTLY how we treat our
subconscious on a regular basis.
We "think" we know what we want, but most of the time we are very, very vague.
"I want a happy relationship."
"I want more money."
"I want my dream home."
"OK," says our subconscious, and goes of busily sorting through our environment to try and fulfill our wishes. Only we are so vague, our subconscious has to guess, based on our previous experiences.
And since our subconscious can't talk to us using language (unless you're some weird movie character and you've got voices telling you EXACTLY what to do all the time), all it can do is give us a FEELING.
An intuition.
And what do we do? Most of the time we simply do what the person in the example above did. We roll our eyes, put the lemonade on the table, and not drink it.
We may notice the intuition, but we don't trust it, or we misinterpret, or maybe we do understand what it is, but we're too terrified of taking any action.
Here's the thing to understand. When our subconscious is sorting through our world and giving us hints on what steps to take, these are only "high probability" steps. Meaning they are steps that have a good chance of leading us to what we want, but they're certainly not guaranteed.
NOTHING is guaranteed.
Why? Because interacting with the world means interacting with other people. And other people are just like you. They've got their own ideas about what they want, which are also changing all the time.
So thinking you can predict other people's behavior with any degree of accuracy is simply foolish.
But guess what? If you not only TRUST your subconscious, and willingly take some risks, you'll be much more likely to get what you want.
Not only that, but when you spend a little bit more time making those desires specific and easy for your subconscious to understand, your subconscious will give you much STRONGER and MORE ACCURATE signals.
