Karma Rides the Bull through the China Shop

Amid all the ruckus and the roil, the demagoguery and the flim-flam, this political season appears to have an undercurrent of sanity about it that is beginning to emerge.  Donald Trump has bored his way through the right wing ideology and the agendas within the Republican party, and he has left a lot of decimation where there had been only rigidly entrenched tyranny.  The entire slate of candidates on the right are now either knocked out, or they are scrambling to find their new beliefs without benefit of resorting to stale old rhetoric and denials.  And on the Democratic side Bernie Sanders has pulled Hillary out of her comfort zone that was leaning too far right, and he has nudged her back to a place where the great bulk of humanity resides—where equality, life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness are the driving forces.  In the middle of it all, dyed-in-the-wool rigidist Antonin Scalia departed this Earth.  His departure caused the foundation of the Supreme Court to "right" itself back to a position of legal neutrality.  The direction of the new court of justice will depend more on “we the people” than on political maneuvering.  All in all Karma has taken its due, and the Scales of Cosmic Equilibrium have been rebalanced—more or less.

The beauty to all of these shiftings is that the playing field of justice has found its own condition of fairness—to the extent that condition exists and is recognizable.  Where we go from here is up to us, the voters, to make the final determination.  And that is as it now can be, and within the limits of cosmic after shocks and residual rumblings, as it ought to be.

Justice is blind, but you and I dare not be.  Come November we must all vote, with clearer heads and with keener eyesight.  No bull.

The Republicans are scrambling, that's for sure. I certainly hope you are right that the right wing ravings of the Trumpeters of the monger find themselves to be a small minority in November when karma comes crashing down.

Otherwise, after four years of despotic slashing and bashing of what is left of what made America great in the first place, will come to what you have earlier predicted… class warfare, a revolution.

Man, that picture. Talk about an "ouch" moment. Couldn't help but think you had a double entendre in "bored." Of course, we can't avoid thinking "boor" either, as when one is subjected to any still shot of the man, all that's there is a boor trying to bore through reason and bore us with rhetoric intellectually capable of occupying but the tip of that bull's horn, focused for the coup de grâce... OUCH!

Karma IS the bull and politics IS the china shop. It's going to be a right mess, possibly bringing on the premature death of the Republican party. John
