Elections and the Search of Sanity

I just finished looking at 29 slides that encapsulate Donald Trump’s residences including his 757 private jet, his multi-million dollar helicopter, and his 281 ft. yacht that he plucked from a Saudi billionaire for a pittance.  I still don’t know which of his estates he calls home, perhaps he hunkers down at one or more of his 18 golf courses where he claims to shoot in the 70s.  I am not certain if he is referring to his IQ, the temperature that behaves just for him, or if he really is getting up into that age bracket where brain cells and toe jam enjoy mergers and acquisitions.  In summary, he has given new meaning to the words regal opulence, Trump-a-mania, and gold-glass-stone structures and such.  For what it’s worth, I wasn’t impressed.

The Donald is still a dufus.  I would be surprised if he can sit and wipe any lower body part at the same time.  Maybe he doesn’t have to, but let’s not go further down that gold plated drain pipe into his abyss.  In lay language, he is dumber than dirt.  He avers that he will give rich boys a needed tax cut, and that will stimulate the economy, bring about unparalleled prosperity, while averting an economic disaster of historical proportions if he is not elected.  You are wrong, Dufus Donald.  A tax cut to the rich will give us an equal and corresponding shortfall to our national budget, and that will boost our debt up to a new high. It will also widen the gap between the super rich and the impoverished.  And if you plan to blame that outcome on the poor (who else?), then you can cut all those silly federal programs like food stamps, aid to children, the disabled, the aged, to Social Security and Medicare, plus whack away at the Affordable Care Act thus making an oxymoron out of that program whilst also making scrambled eggs out of your tiny mega-moronic brain.

Well, as they say, elections have consequences.  And there are likely about 45 percent of those who can barely chew gum and find their way to their voting precinct at the same time who will vote for you for president.  That is, if they can first squeeze your fat ass through the electoral portals in Cleveland, and get your name on the November ballots.

It seems that your Republican cohorts are in a tizzy trying to prevent your nomination, thence to thrust upon us a boy wonder from Texas (by way of Canada or Cuba) with the name of Cruz, and that rhymes with booze, and that stands for nuts.  Holy shit balls, and what a revoltin’ development!  That’s Armageddon and hell-and-damnation all rolled into one squeamish pile of dung-on-a-bun.  And to think that all of this happened just as I was trying to fine tune my golf game into something that has a chance of kicking butt among the octogenarian set.

But I still have time until the summer winds have come and gone before booking a flight to New Zealand with warmer climes, fewer ding dongs, where I can hunker down in a bunker and play a round of golf in the 70s.  And, yes, I’m talking about the temperature.  At least Donald and I have that much in common.  Au revoir!

Some of your best writing and humor. Statements like, "…up into that age bracket where brain cells and toe jam enjoy mergers and acquisitions," are priceless.

My helper says that Trump is really quite smart (and liberal)… That he is masquerading as a Republican and purposely destroying the Republican Party by mimicking their ideological, contradictory and idiotic platform and taking all the delegates. If that is true, he is beautifully succeeding in his purpose. He is supposed to have a high IQ.

I've seen Trump show off his gilded penthouse apartment topping one of his buildings in Manhattan. I'm sure that's where he lives. All the other properties are just to show off.

There's no shortage of Trumpisms and thuggish behavior that seem to appeal to a base element. As always, I like your vernacular - "And there are likely about 45 percent of those who can barely chew gum and find their way to their voting precinct at the same time who will vote for you for president." If reason trumps inanity, you won't need to book that flight to New Zealand.

Ed, go and get that guy under articles, "Trump is best for America's Future". I seem to be the only one disputing what he says. He's also been under "best articles" for quite some time.

Poor Donald. He raises the idiot factor to new heights. One maintains a perverse interest to see what he will say (do) next. Enjoyed this. John
