Hello America. The year 2020 is the most important year any of us has faced since 1931 when we elected Franklin Delano Roosevelt as our President. We were in a crisis then; we are in crisis today. FDR was the right person at that time; Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are the right persons today. Why? For starters, they pretty much support every word in this narrative. The present administration wants to eliminate virtually all our gains of the past 100 years starting with Medicare, Medicaid, the Affordable Care Act, Social Security, our Public Schools, the US Postal Service, NASA, and replace them with profit-making entities and with managers certain to be paid multi-millions of dollars. Those institutional changes would be sufficient to change our way of life from independence to a totalitarian form of Socialism. And they would widen the wealth and income inequalitiy gaps—making the rich richer and the poor poorer. They also want to banish Unions and most workplace protections currently afforded workers. They want widespread use of Nondisclosure Agreements for employers with heavy costs to whistle blowers about wrongdoing They want to slash or eliminate OSHA; put political puppets in charge of our Justice Department; socialize NASA, the World Bank, the Fed, the Armed Forces, the Center for Disease Control, the VA, and make Agriculture, Commerce, Energy, Health and Human Services, Homeland Security, Housing and Urban Development, and the Census Bureau part of their political network. Trump wants to break away from our major international alliances such as NATO, SEATO, OAS while he cozies up to our adversaries, such as Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un. He is a pathological liar having told us more than 21,000 lies since taking office. He is a racist, a mysogynist, and an ignoramus, with no sense of morality, He takes no responsibility for things that go wrong such as our runaway virus pandemic that has killed more than 180,000 of our people, yet he lies and misinforms everyone about how to bring it under control. He intends to transform this land that he was too cowardly to fight for under his dictatorial control in a fashion rivaling that of Adolf Hitler. Even his sister and his niece speak negatively of him, essentially saying that he does not give two hoots in hell about anyone other than himself. And then there are more than 1,000 psychiatrists who have signed their names to the rolls of those experts who tell us that he has a long list of serious mental issues that make him unfit for high office.

America, please wake up! Clear your heads. A vote for Donald Trump is not an act of freedom. It is an act of selling your soul. It borders on treason. Here’s more:

.--Neither the crisis nor the platform to lead us out of our mess is basically political in nature. It is about survival. It’s about meeting our obligation to be responsible citizens to each other. It’s also about our parents’ survival, and our grand parents’, and our children’s, and our grand children’s survival. Our patriotism demands that we act; our morality demands that we act; our religions demands that we act; so do our ethnicities, our ancestry, and our heritage demand that we act.

--It is an act of cowardice to look the other way. It is sinful to fail to act. Heaven is watching. Providence is watching, and the 100 billion human beings that ever lived on planet Earth are watching. Most of our problems and challenges were created by incompetence on the part of our sitting President. He cannot grasp difficult issues, but that is not his fault. He cannot help fix issues that he does not understand, and that is not his fault. He cannot be expected to anticipate future events correctly, and that is not his fault. He has shown us that he will almost inevitably take the wrong action with respect to every issue that he faces. He will not accept any responsibility for anything that goes wrong, yet he wants credit for everything that goes right. And those are not his fault either. He lacks the moral, intellectual, and spiritual maturity to act responsibly and in the interests of us. But a vote for him is the fault of the voter. Don’t be one of them.

--Individually and collectively we are a lot smarter, kinder, more compassionate, more understanding, more tolerant, and more forgiving than he is. We were blessed by Providence with more skills, more compassion, and with much better moral compasses. Our president was not so blessed. He is a thoroughly corrupt person, who needs much psychological and psychiatric help. Vote for a fence post if you must rebel against the issues in your life. But don’t vote for him.

--What about Joe Biden and Kamala Harris? Are they fit for high public office? The answer is an unqualified “yes.” First, there is nothing in their backgrounds that even hint that they are anything at all like President Trump. Both Biden and Harris are lawyers. Joe Biden served 47 years in government as a Senator and the Vice President, far longer than anyone in the Trump administration. As Vice President alone, Biden traveled more than 1 million miles and met with the leaders of 47 countries. That is substantial experience. His name in on a long list of sponsored bills across a wide swath of interests and needs during the administrations of seven different presidents. That is a huge amount of experience. He is well-known for his support of the working class. He even took the train to and from his residence during all the years when he was a senator. Harris was the former Attorney General for California before her election to the Senate in 2016 with a shorter, but stellar, list of accomplishments. Both are considered to be mainstream Democrats.

--Heaven, Providence, our Heritage, our ancestors, our Constitution, and our guardian angels will not act for us. We still have free will. But free to choose does not mean that anyone is free to collude against the interests of 330 million people. We must individually make certain that we are registered to vote, know where our voting place is located, and either mail-in our ballot very soon, or go to our voting place and vote. The elections of November 2020 are certain to be hotly contested, and voting will be subject to a host of ways to tilt and rig the election toward Donald Trump. He can be defeated by a large voter turnout. Let’s get it done.
