With just 9 days to go, the Biden/Harris ticket is maintaining its strong lead over Trump. Still, a win for Biden is not a certainty. In this final week, Trump and his cohorts are certain to use every dirty trick in the book to pull victory from the jaws of defeat. Even Trump’s subdued demeanor in the final debate backfired on him. With Trump backing away from his usual endless barrage of bombast and interruptions, Biden leveled him with facts, vision, integrity, and conviction that should have driven the knockout punch to Tramp’s chances of winning. Now Trump will almost certainly announce that he personally developed the perfect vaccine to stop the Covid-19 virus, and vaccinations are now underway. That would be TTBS (true Trump bull shit).

He could announce that with his incredible negotiating skills, he now supports a new round of economic stimulus money that is certain to revive the economy. He has blocked it for 5 months. He could announce that he is 100 percent in support of mandating that all health insurance companies permit preconditions for everyone. He has been against such allowances for years and years. He could announce total support for Medicare and Social Security, two programs that he wants to destroy. He could announce that he is less racist than Abe Lincoln, Ghandi, Moses, and Jesus Christ—and probably God himself—because God told him so. He’s a total racist. And, of course, the 50,000 poll watchers he assembled across the land to harangue voters will bring back tales of cutthroat Democrats who have been murdering them by the thousands.
