Yesterday, we lost a rare talent—a singer, song writer, pianist, composer, conductor and a soft-spoken guy with the looks of a movie star. His name: Burt Bacharach. From the 1950's thru the 1980’s (my era), Burt Bachrach, Hal David, and Dionne Warwick pooled their talents and gave us Don’t Make me Over, Close to You; Walk on By; the Look of Love; Always Something There to Remind Me; and Raindrops Keep Fallin’ on my Head. The list goes on and on. Virtually every singer of note recorded his songs.

Burt Bacharet was one very Cool guy.
