Want to read about a truckload of garbage? The Heritage Foundation has put together an aggregation of Right-Wing objectives that rivals the intentions of the world’s most evil rulers. They fail to tell readers that their foundation is founded and funded by misfits and ne'er-do-wells intent on transforming the US into a dictatorship run by right-wing ideologues who are faithful to Donald Trump. You remember Trump, don’t you! He is the person guilty of 34 out of 34 felony charges—who nevertheless is free to fly around the country telling one lie after another in his own incoherent way. He is under charges on at least 57 more felony counts, not least of which is the theft of our nuclear secrets—which could carry the death penalty if proved that he revealed or sold any of them to our adversaries such as Vladimir Putin.

Here are more reasons to vote against all right-wing ideologues—whenever and wherever they foment their proclamations.

1. Loyalty. They plan to pack the next administration with extremists loyal to former President Donald Trump. They have even set up online training and loyalty tests to narrow down potential hires only to those who commit to following Trump to the gates of hell and beyond without question.

2. Lost Rights. They would reinstate Schedule F, a Trump-era executive order that makes federal employees fire-able at will by stripping tens of thousands of employees from hard-fought protections earned over many decades.

3. The Garbage Bucket. The 920-page policy book, titled “Mandate for Leadership: A Conservative Promise,” describes Project 2025’s hundreds of other priorities. They include meddling into reproductive rights, LGBTQ and civil rights, climate change efforts, and immigration.

4. Slash Funding and Dismantling Agencies. Their plan proposes to slash funding for the Department of Justice (DoJ), the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security, and eliminate the Department of Commerce; while ending the independence of the FCC, and the Federal Trade Commission.

5. Unqualified Faith Healers. They would replace the medical decisions of qualified physicians with the beliefs of politicians with no medical training about pregnancies, pills, and with governmental intrusions into issues here-to-fore left to families, their physicians, and religious preferences. They would intrude into many other democratic, civil rights, and other personal issues.

That’s just the short list. Who would have guessed that 249 years after sending King George our Declaration of Independence, signed by 56 freedom fighters, in search of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness; that a group of today’s least qualified individuals would try to reduce, eliminate, or replace every word of that most sacred document. How brazen the few, how corrupt their minds, how evil their souls!

They rely on the ultra-wealthy (many of whom pay no income taxes) to fund their evil-intentions by pouring money into the campaigns of boot-lickers who will vote for the changes—while you and I are expected to obey their audacious bills passed into laws under the misleading mandate “We are a nation of laws.” Perhaps, but we are not a nation of puppets.

Loyalty without common sense by—or trust in—ideologues is nothing. Also, enlightenment does not flow from ideologies. Not yesterday, today, or tomorrow.

Life is not about finding perfection. It’s about the good that we can do. We should never let self-proclaimed ideals tht favor the few get in the way of the good. Every freedom-loving American needs to crush the evil schemes that all such pretenders to the throne of money and power bring by voting against them in the voting booths on November 5, 2024. We’ve done it before, and we can do it again.
