Hypocrisy and the Re-establishment of Values

Today is January 20, 2025, a date which shall live in infamy. It is a day when the foundation of democracy awakened to an assault on its cherished history, when our ancestry has been spit upon, and we have been found to have sunken to a new low in virtue, faith, and expectations. But this is no time for sorrow. We, the faithful to history, to our heritage, and to Providence will re-ignite the flame of freedom. We call upon each other and to all those around the world who share our values to awaken from a long malaise against common decency, and to restore dignity to our true leaders at all levels who are determined to awaken our country to the principles and values that have served us well since our founding more than 248 years ago. We will hold all persons of goodwill to the long-standing principles that have never wavered; to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness without regard to color, race, or creed while we re-balance the scales of justice. To those who would pull us down further into the depths of servitude know this: You will never defeat us, not here, not now, not ever.

And so, the days ahead will be daunting as the forces of lies, deception, and excessive wealth to the few continue to lead us astray, and too many have been mislead by dishonor, faulty reasoning, and mistrust. Democracy is only as strong as its weakest link. Let us therefore join hands and bring new strength to the principles and values that have held us in good stead. To paraphrase Patrick Henry, “We know not what course others may take, but as for us, give us liberty, or give us death!”
