More on Trump

Donald Trump is showing us in rapid fashion that he is more than a pretty face ready-made for another dictator lover boy, or an unparalleled failure in business. He’s also too big-hearted to raise a finger (beyond the middle one) to help everyday Americans, and immigrants, Mexicans, Canadians, Greenlanders; or the Palestinians; acknowledge climate-change or climatologists; or if he can even think in terms of art when he sees his newly self-appointed role as the head of the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. He hates NATO; would sell them and us out to Russia in a New York minute; prefers to hide viruses from all of us; and would love to spray America’s lungs with bleach instead of vaccinating them. He’s also too intelligent to think there’s a difference between a cognitively aware test and an intelligence test; he cannot think beyond an endless supply of assertions (no analyzed facts); believes his IQ is actually in the genius range; he lives to lie—30,000 times; and he actually believes Elon Musk will not stab him in the back at the first sign Musk discovers there’s an almost real human life in his flabby body; that education is a bane to humanity; that science is for losers; or that war heroes often do not come back alive. He loves to pin the Medal of Freedom on petty litte suckups; while believing that stupid beats smart when it comes to teachers, doctors, lawyers, scientists, philosophers, and members of his cabinet; plus all doers, makers, shakers, and achievers in life. He hates the young, the aged, the disabled; and, of course, all those who believe that honesty is the best policy.

I do not have a clue about how this mental giant could possibly reach a booming crescendo in his head, when we might all wake up only to find it was just a bad dream; when Trump and his zombie-like lemmings suddenly “see the light,” lay down their fake ballots, and begin to march to Onward Christian Soldiers. Were we not comforted when he just revealed Musk’s team of teenager data-stealers just found a treasure-trove of data and trillions of dollars in “waste, fraud, and abuse?” But of course. We knew they would. With all that experience, how could they not have? They knew “when, where, how, who, and why,” because that is what they do. Or hope to do—some day, maybe. Now he can begin to transfer yours and my Social Security and Medicare dollars from us to the 10 percent at the top of the wealth heap. After all, they really need that money what with a pultry $152 trillion of if laying around in miles of piles of stocks, bonds, real estate, and money stacks into which they can run thru in their bare feet when their tootsies need some cooling with lotsa moola drooling.

According to Trump, real life is but a nuisance in the minds of mental giants like him. Hell’s bells, he even solved the California fires without the boring need to actually go there. Yes, he chipped in a few hundred federal dollars to the $250 billion burnout tab by draining water from reservoirs 200 miles away that were not connected in any way with the Los Angeles' fires. Now the crops way up there in Northern California are certain to suffer from lack of irrigation water when the summer heat gets here. But, what the hell, he fixed the problem! How? Because he said so. Now keep those rakes handy you other 40 million Californians so you can rake the forest leaves in the rest of the state before the next fire comes along. As they say, “it’s lonely at the top.” It’s also dark in there.

There are many ways to become a mental "giant." One can fill their mind with thoughts and ideas of beneficial substance. Or they can fill it with shit. Unfortunately, too many people seem to be eating from the toilet these days.

These are scary times! I'm seriously wondering how the hell we'll get out of this mess! I'm 74 and not sure I'll see better days ahead. Keep hope alive!

This piece reminded me of an article I read a while back re: coginitive tests for dogs, especially seeing eye trained dogs. His "dumb as a rock" intelligence is "trumped" only by his inability to be anything or go anywhere with himself as you've so astutely (and with much entertainment) rounded out in this complete sun-lamped, Gorgeous George hair fixated Reality Show for his favorite people: the uneducated jerk-off. Thanks for the words and the zest to tell it like it is.
