“Learn the tools and techniques that will create a dramatic impact on your life and help you reach a level of success you never thought was possible while you’re spouse is deployed”
Do you feel like a chicken running around with his head chopped off while your spouse is deployed or maybe it is the other way around? May you (the soldier) feel happy to be home, but at same time, it is not easy to pick up where you left off. Maybe you feel a little lost from being gone for so long.
As you work tirelessly to meet your everyday challenges, trying to run a household, make ends meat and overcome the emotional after effects of deployment – you may ask yourself how can I do it all and succeed at what I am trying to do?
You may not even know where to begin. So much may be going in your life that you may feel overwhelmed and you may be having a hard time focusing and thinking clearly. So what should you do? First, the most important step in moving forward is valuing your time (organizing) your time productively.
Organizing you time, setting productive goals, and creating efficient plans that will help you achieve your goals so you can accomplish what you set out to do and learn how to turn your dreams into a reality.
You may ask yourself why you should be interested in an article on valuing your time. However, valuing your time is something you should be concerned about when it comes to living a healthy, happy, and productive life. If you feel like you need help valuing (organizing), your time and you stop reading, you will be missing an opportunity to insure that your military life and family will survive and prosper.
Time is one of the most important and most overlooked things in life. Most at time people tend to focus on ways to improve their family life and things at work, but we forget that in order to succeed at anything we do we need to organize our time, create productive goals, and then execute them. We tend to think we can do anything if we set our mind to it, but honestly, if we do not value our time properly we will not be able to prosper and reach our goals. Valuing time is a key factor to success and achieving anything we put our minds to that we want to achieve. Valuing and managing your time wisely will decrease the stress in your life caused by deployment, it will help you organize the important things in your life and help you realize what’s important and what things in your life you need to pay attention too.
Goal # 1 - The Inner Passion- Thinking about the things you want to accomplish and the ways you can attain them
First, you need to make sure that you create a pleasant environment for yourself. You cannot succeed if you do not have a yearning to succeed and a passion to excel. In order to have a passion to succeed you need to be able to focus and think clearly. If you cannot think clearly than you are not going to be able to make wise decisions. The home you live in, the colors and décor of your house, the people surround you on a daily basis all play a big role in your life (your happiness and productivity), whether you realize it or not. If you have a blah home than I guarantee you are going to feel blah. Create a home that is energizing and helps you spark the motivation that lies within you. Make sure the people around you are positive and pleasant people. Their attitudes will always rub off on you and in this hectic and competitive world we live in there is no need to create unnecessary stress. Focus on your passions, your desires then get a journal and start recording those desires on paper as long and short-term goals. This will give you the drive to work toward productive goals and it will definitely spark your desire to succeed and reach levels of success you thought were impossible. Whatever the case, the power we receive within ourselves comes from the people and the surroundings around us. Success only comes to those you yearn for it. So decide what you want from life – even if your spouse is deployed you still have goals, you still have dreams- achieve them and do not procrastinate. Learn to encourage yourself, empower, and supply yourself with the motivation to succeed and go way beyond your expectations. Remember, those who give in life always get back in life.
Goal #2
You need to have a vision in order to succeed. You need to have some sort of direction in your life so you can journey down a path that will lead you to the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Remember, a good way to create direction is to create 10 long-term goals and 10 short-term goals. List the most important goals first and the least important toward the bottom. By creating some goals you will be able to organize, you time and create the necessary steps to succeed. Use every moment wisely. Every minute is a minute you can never get back. Organization is the key. Organization delivers positive results. Your dreams can become a reality if you value your time and organize your time wisely. And most off all have faith in yourself – always believe in yourself. With faith comes strength, with strength comes wisdom, with wisdom comes courage, and with all three come success.
