Last night, Frank and I attended the Elton John and Billy Joel concert at the All State Arena in Rosemont, Illinois.

Rosemont, Illinois is a far southwest suburb of Chicagoland. It consists of Rosemont Theatre and Allstate Arena.

Frank and I originally were suppose to see Elton John and Billy Joel
on April 10, however, due to health reasons, Billy Joel apologized for having to reschedule the concert for May 8, which is incidentally his birthday.

The Dynamic Duo played one hour together, and then each had one hour to play alone and at the end they played another hour together.

Elton John played some of both of his songs from the beginning of his music career which began back in early 1970 and he is still going strong.

The Bitch Is Back, Tiny Dance, Crockdile Rock, Your Song, A Man Like Me, from his newest album West of The Rockies

Billy Joel played some his best sellers
one in particular is a theme song of mine,

Don't Go Changing To Try To Please Me. Only The Good Die Young, Piano Man, and some others.

I was pleased to see the turn out because it was not only of people who were in their early 40's to mid 50's, but some of Generation X were there to enjoy some of the best music that was ever published and made back in the late sixties to early eighties.

Elton John continues to still sing some of the best music and made several musical scores for the Lion King and El Dolorado as well.

He has two musical on stage The Lion King and Idia and Billy Joel has one musical on stage Moving Out.

Elton John's first LP Album was Empty Skies made back in late 1969.

Billy Joel did not come in to the music scene until early 1978, with the song Uptown Girl making it debute in June of 1978.

Both Elton John and Billy Joel, along with the rest of their comtemporaries have made a huge impact in the music world.

The late sixties to the early eighties produced some of the best music in the music industry.

This includes SOUL music as well.

All in all, everyone who attended the concert, were moving and grooving, and rock'in and roll'in to the great sounds of Elton John and Billy Joel.

The crowd to say atleast was well behaved, polite, and courtsey to all.

It was a great concert.
