What is this world coming when the "Federal" Government allows the State to exploit children and place them on the Auction block to the highest bidder, before the "true and natural" parents parental rights are actually terminated.
Miah Bassette is one of the many children in the State of Ohio whose picture is already placed on the state adoption waiting child photo site.
Many "white" children are exploited this way. It is a common fact that "white" infertile couples are actually having to wait up to ten years to get a healthy white child under the age 5 years old.
Ohio openly admits that they like almost every other state have a hard time placing children of other races and nationalities.
"White"children are hard to get a hold of especially if white infertile couples have their minds set on one sex or another.
The waiting list can be as long as ten (10) years for the long list and five (5) years for the short list once white couples get done with all the psychological, psychiatric, and home study rheotric.
I have been Michele's family right advocate for about a year now and the State of Ohio is trying to terminate her parental rights on the grounds of the "Best Interest of The Child" due to the medical reason Michele has "fibromyalgia" another one of those chronic illness similiar to Chronic Fatique Syndrome.
The State of Ohio CPS has not even taken in consideration that Michele's medical doctor has stated to the fact that Michele is totally capable of taking care of three (3)year old Miah.
The Summit County CPS agency in Ohio forcibly broken down her door and violated every Constitutional Right that Michele had.
Now to further promote the national outrage of exploiting the Adoption Industry which is a multi-million dollar industry each year.
Summit County, Ohio CPS now has say they have an identifying "white" family who is waiting to adopt Miah.
No one takes under the consideration that Miah already knows who her "true and natural" mother is. That it will be hard on her to adapt and adjust to new care-takers.
Later on, Miah will no doubt be diagnosed as autistic, because she will not allow her new caretakers if Michele's appeal is not won in court next week.
Like so many states, there is not as many family rights advocates to go around and be there for when parents need us.
Some states have two. Other states have none.
Right now, Ohio is without a family rights advocate. So parents within Ohio must seek out help from neighboring states that have one.
The "white" infertile couple who is awaiting to adopt Miah, is not even aware why Miah was taken away from her "true and natural" mothers care, custody, and control.
Most likely, like so many parents that have been dragged through the CPS process and the final outcoming is "termination of parental rights". Michele will not be allowed to place her side of what happened in her daughter's docile.
It will be one sided until at which time if Michele does not win her appeal next week, when Miah turns 18 in 2013, and if she is lucky to find Michele again. That she will learn the total truth behind her illegal seizure and adoption.
No Ohio has not managed like all the other states to place children of other races, handicaps, and mixed heritage into adoptive homes.
However, States have no trouble finding "White" children under the age of (5) five years old adoptive homes.
The younger the child is the better chance they adopters have to reprogram the child to who is their "parents".
Luckily, children are not stupid. They will grow up and they will want to find their "true and natural" family.
Who knows how many states actually have "white and waiting children" to be adopted in them. Some of them are most likely handicap, and older children in the teens, in which case no one will want them.
These white older children with handicaps will forever linger in foster care just as their counterparts will.
The U.S. Department of Human Services/ACF gives states hefty bonuses who place children into adoptive homes each year.
Special needs children bonuses are between the amounts of $4,000 a child.
Special needs children are considered:
1. Afro-American children of any age
2. Handicap children who have a mental, developmental, or physical impairment.
3. Older Children of any race, over the age of 12.
4. Other minority children of any age.
The United States Department of Human Services/ACF has placed a cap on each state of $200,000.00 a year.
They must place so many children in adoptive homes successfully in order for them to reap their rewards.
The ACF does not take in consideration that how many of these adopters may scream "wrongful" adoption after their adopted children become older and more and more problems manifest.
These same adopters who are suppose to take these children created "legal" orphans as "their own" . Then decide to file a "wrongful" adoption lawsuit and then "relinquish" their parental rights and throwing that child they had adopted back into the same child welfare system that they took the child out of in the first place.
On top of that, the adoptive parents are being awarded financial wards for winning their "wrongful" adoption lawsuits.
The child that was once a "legal"orphan and then part of a family whether or not it is his/her "true and natural" family or adopters, is once again a "legal"orphan with no parents on record.
Neither "true and natural"parents or "legally adoptive "parents.
What must a child think. I wonder.
When will our society stop promoting adoption as a good thing and realize it is more destructive than constructive.
Once adoption may have meant "take as your own" but no longer.
Adoption is no less the buying of another woman's child. Adopters don't know what they are getting when they buy another woman's child.
Cav'et Emp'tor is latin for "Buyer Beware" and children are not refundable or returnable.
The State Ohio has Miah on the State Auction block.
States don't need to get rich off our adoption and exploiting children for financial gains.
Children belong with their "true and natural"parents. That is unless the child is in imminent danger of losing his /her life.
Infertility is a fact of life. It is a sad fact of life, but buying another woman's child should be made a crime
and adoption abolished.
Summit County did not do all it could to reunify Michele and Miah. This is because there is no money to be made in this reunification process.
There is money to be made by destroying and desecrating the "true and natural" family. The states are doing it very well.
