It was the best of times. It was the worse of times
These are perilious times for Christians and being Christian and trying to spread the Gospel of Salvation unto the very ends of the earth is dangerous. However, we can say, that we must continue to keep up the good fight and until every nation, kindred, and person has been won for Christ.
In Lebanon, a 31 year of Christian missionary was coldy cut down by Isalmic zealots. This young missionary was doing what Christ taught all of us Christians to do to go forth and preach the Good News of Salvation and to take care of those less fortunate souls that have none.
Bringing to mind what Apostle Paul said " Every knee will bow and Every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and King over all " will come to pass and no not one will escape judgement.
First of all, let us reflect on what Christ specifically taught us with his Sermon on The Mount or The Beattutides
But I say unto you, "Love your enemies, bless them, that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you:"
Our Lord and Savior, commands us not only to feed and take care of his sheep but also his goats. These goats represent all those other religions that have not come to him accepted his unconditional plan of love and salvation and acceptance. How sad and tragic for them.
As Christians, we are not promised a life free of thorns and smooth sailing, in fact, we can expect exactly the opposite, thorns and storms and rough seas ahead.
We have the blessed assurance that Jesus will be with us to the very end and we have his perfect peace that surpasses all understanding.
None other of the religions can offer this. This is because Christianity is not a religion but a Faith centered and rooted in Christ and what he taught here on earth during his earthly minstry.
Keeping in mine the Prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatered, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light
And where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master,
Grant that I may not so much seek
To be consoled as to console;
To be understood as to understand;
To be loved as to love;
For it is in giving that we receive;
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
And it is dying that we are born to eternal life.
As sorrowful as it is that a cowardly zealous Isalmic would kill another person such as the Late Mother Terersa, in trying to fulfill the mission that our Lord himself commands each and every one of us Christians to do regardless to our denomination. We are taught to forgive and love our enemies as we love ourselves.
The young missionary woman who was killed for her faith and trying to fulfill the Lord's commission, and is now Her Lord and Our Lord, and Her Savior and Our Savior.
Come home my good and faithful servant. For you have served me well.
Lord, forgive them, for they know not what they do.
My heart and prayers go out to the family and friend of the young missionary who was murdered in Lebanon yesterday.
