This feature will teach anyone how to discover and uncover their inner-voice and how to use it in a way to online therapy groups.

I am asked many times over. How do I find my inner voice so I can begin the healing process from whereas I was told while growing up from my parent this arachiac term "Children should be seen and not heard" or "Children should only speak when spoken too."

First of all, children should not be told this. Children like adults have the absolute right to voice their opinions, express themselves, and ask questions.

For the record: there is no such thing as stupid or silly question. I think that shows us how ignorant adults and parents really are when they tell their children this.

This shows me that the parents don't have the answers and do not want their children to go else where looking for the answers to those questions they want so badly answered.

STOP TELLING YOUR CHILDREN THIS. IF PARENTS DO NOT, WE WILL HAVE MORE OF A DYSFUNCTIONAL SOCIETY THAN BEFORE.

Each of us, and I mean each of us, adults or children have an inner voice just wanting to be released and set free inside of us. This is good and healthy. If we use it in the right way than we have a less chance of needing therapy or medications later on down the road in life.

Creative writing allows each of us to let our most inner thoughts be released in a positive way. I refer to this as "venting".

It is unhealthy for people to keep their feelings and emotions bottled up inside of them. Because eventually they will not be able to do so, and they will have to release it all and it will errupt like a volcano and all those hidden emotions and feelings will rush forth and no telling what one will reveal.

So it is better to bring them out in a healthy, positive, constructive way rather than keep them bottled up inside of them.

Creative therapy has been used for years to help those with mental health problems discover what is bothering them and helps them to bring forth all those emotions and feelings they were not able to do so before.

Just as art therapy as been used to help children uncover what is bothering them, because they do not know yet how to express them selves by the writing. It can uncover hidden secrets of the mind and heart.

Our inner voice is a little voice that tells us what to write. It tells us to write what we feel, experience, and lived. It tells us to open up and let everything hang out and hang loose.

If we have a bad day at work, home, with family, friends, co-workers, we can come to our diary or journal or if we know how to use the computer or webtv and find a mulititude of online journal sites so we can channel our feelings and release that which is bothering us so we can feel better.

We can use our diaries and journals to reveal about secrets we don't want to share with anyone inside of our families. However, the good thing about online journals and diaries we have control who can read and can not read them.

There are many form of diaries and journals. One such is a prayer journal. Where we write down our prayers and our petitions to the Lord and Lady.

There is also webrings, web communities, and so forth.
Just to name a few is:
http://xanga.com
http://mydeardiary.com
http://freeopendiary.com
http://ujournal.org

These are some of the best online diary and weblog communities on the internet. For a small fee some allow you to use HTML language, graphics, and so forth.

If you did not have any friends or family, you soon will have and you will also have and receive a lot of support, encouragement, and friendship with others who share similar problems with you.

We all have an inner voice that wants to be released and we all want inner healing of the body, mind, and spirit.

Creative therapy is the best way to do it. And online groups such as MSN.groups and Yahoo groups often the best means of support for those of us with any type of disability who live on Social Security Disability or Supplementary Security Income.

Brightest Blessings,
Karissa Anne Lowell
