There are times in our lives as believers when we face one trial after the other. We must remember that the Word did not say that trials will not come. They will come and we not are aware of when they come.
We may loose our job or you may have a huge load of debt. You or a loved one may have obtained a life threatening illness. Sometimes you may feel like your world is caving in. You may even feel that you are all alone. You would then try to speak to God about the concern. You would wait and wait yet there still is no answer. You then ask God, “Where are you?” Be encouraged to know that He is there.
God hears the prayers of the righteous. Those who are righteous are those in right standing with God, having accepted Christ, as your Lord and Savior.
Trials and storms arise to test our faith. God allows these situations to arise so that as you walk into the light of freedom, your testimony can be the light for someone following behind you in that same trial. Be encouraged and know that God cares for you. He will never leave you nor forsake.
When you pray, God can answer in different ways: 1) yes, 2) No, 3) and not right now. He may give you an answer now or He may wait to see whether you will wait on Him. God wants to show us that He is in control. Silence from God doesn’t mean that He has not heard your prayer or knows of your situation. He is there because you are still alive. You have the use of your limbs and you are allowed to breath in air that belongs to Him.
Give Him praise in the midst of silence. Your praise will usher in the answer to your prayers. Just know that your brethren around the world have experienced the same!
