Life can change any second. How do you explain events like plane crashes and other disasters. This first chapter of my book makes you think of life and death and what to learn from these events.

Chapter 1
The Unexplained Events

December, 2004. People are enjoying a regular winter
afternoon. Vacationers have filled the beaches, and
kids are playing with beach balls and other toys.
Mothers are taking care of the household chores while men are
busy with their work. Just another ordinary day. And then it hits.
A Tsunami with more than 100 foot waves that sweeps various
nations, including Sri Lanka, Indonesia, India, and Thailand.
Just another ordinary day turns into a graveyard of humanity. By
the time it settles down, more than 250,000 people – men,
women, old, young – are dead. Gone. Why? What had they done
to deserve that? And, what about that one infant, just a few
months old, who survived the storm's fury. What explains that?
Randomness? Chance? Luck?
September 11, 2001. A dark day for the United States.
Terrorist attacks take over 2,600 innocent lives. Many of them
small children and seniors from practically all nationalities. Was
it Destiny for these people to die like that? What had they done
wrong? For them, it was going to be a routine day. But, it wasn't.
Did God really mean to do that? But, why? And, what about
the few lucky people who were supposed to be in the building
or the crashed planes, but didn't go due to an alarm not going off
or other reasons. Did they have a premonition or was there
someone looking out for them – a guardian angel, God himself,

or some other spiritual form? And, what about the "terrorists"
who took their own lives to kill so many innocent people? Are
they the evil ones or was it their Destiny to die, killing thousands
of other people?
A TWA plane crashed in New York. Two hundred and fifty
people died in one of the worst airplane tragedies in the aviation
history. The devastating accident also consumed 50 children of
ages ranging from 6 months to 19 years. They were living,
joyous, full of life just before the f light. Now, they are gone.
Forever S at least in their last form. Just a random accident? Is it
luck? Or is it Destiny? What could these children have done to
deserve that? Some of them had barely started their lives before
their lives were taken away. Why? Why? Why? Why did
God have to do that?
Adolf Hitler. Millions of people butchered and killed for no
logical reason by one egoistic individual. Did God do that? Or
was that man a manifestation of devil? And, if God didn't do it,
why didn't he stop the killings?
Bosnia. Ten thousand people, including children and women,
were killed during the two years of the civil war. Just two
years ago, the life in Bosnia and former Yugoslavia was
peaceful and happy. What happened? Why did those people,
most of whom were innocent, have to die? Did God do that?
Why?
A child falls in the bear pit, but is carefully moved to a
safe spot by a mother bear. Mere luck? Or did God save the
child? Why?
A child is born dead. A plane crashes with 100 people dead,
but there were four survivors. A couple survives after getting
lost in a snow storm for ten days. We hear about many such
stories on a daily basis in our lives. The mysteries remain
unexplained.
If we were to diagnose these events scientifically, there
would be no answer. But how else would we explain these
events?

After all, we have been brainwashed for years about having
evidence and proof for every thing before believing. As
children, we were taught the principles of mathematics, science,
and other subjects that showed proof of our solutions. If we
talked about spiritual phenomenon, we were discouraged by our
families. As we grew up with these biased minds, our friends, and
peers, who also had grown up with the same ideas, did not feel
comfortable discussing phenomenon beyond the boundaries
that had been established throughout our lives.
So, how do we explain these events? How do we
explain why four people survived in the crash when
everyone else died? How do we explain the deaths of
innocent children occurring throughout our lives when
thousands of murderers, robbers and other bad elements of
our society who continue to live a long life? Most scientists will
explain these as mere coincidences, chance, luck, or accidents –
but are they really? Or is there another hidden meaning behind
these events? Are these planned events in the overall scheme
of things, and we are just acting according to the plan leading to
these events? Is it Destiny? Who created this Destiny?
As we start analyzing the events in our lives, we'll find that
there are more questions than answers. Answers
can be found, however, but we have to find answers for ourselves.
This book will help you guide yourself to find your meaningful
answers. How do you know if those answers are correct?
