Art Linkletter was so good with the kids, who usually ranged in age from three years old to about 7 or 8 years of age.  This is an age, when kids are so funny, and they don't have to be prompted to make you laugh...they just do it automatically.  For example;

Art Linkletter asked one of the kids, "Have you made your New Year's Resolution?"  And the kid's answer;  Yes, I have made my New Years Revolution." 

Kids can embarrass you, too, with their honesty.  Case in point;

A salesman walked to the front door of this house and rang the door bell.  The five year old kid inside the house answered the door and told the salesman, "My Mommy told me to tell you that she's not home." 

NOTE; 'Little white lies,' have a tendancy to become more destructive in the future.

It was the holiday season, at the indoor shopping mall of over 200 stores, and the shoppers were doing their shopping for the upcoming Christmas season. 

Mrs. Jones and her little boy, were in the festive crowd and she took her son, about five years old, to the shopping mall to visit Santa.  The five year old, had never been to anything like this and had never visited with Santa, so he was nervous and anxious. 

There was short line to visit Santa of other kids about the same age.  Everyone waited patiently.  After about a ten minute wait, Mrs. Jones son reached the front of the line, and his name was called to go up on stage and visit with Santa, etc.

The little boy, nerviously walked up on the stage and walked over to Santa, and Santa took the little boy and sat him on his lap.  Mrs. Jones was over-joyed and she had a camera taking pictures of what was going, from every angle, etc. 

The little boy, was amazed at Santa's white beard, and he enjoyed combing his fingers through the beard, as Santa asked the boy,  "And, what do you want for Christmas, young man?" 

With a perplexed look on his face, the little boy looked out in the audience to find his mother...and then he turned back to Santa and yelled out, "Santa...your breath STINKS!" 

Shocked and embarrassed by her son's remarks and behavior, she put the camera away, and stormed up the stage and took her son off Santa's lap and proceeded down the steps took her son by the hand, and disapeared into the crowd of shoppers at the mall.  This woman was NOT a happy camper about her son's comments and behavior...and rightly so!   (kids will be kids...but...there's a line in the sand for everything...)   

Remember...while kids can say the darnest things...kids can also embarrass you, too...(blush-blush)

NOTE; Children have to be taught to control their emotions, such as reckless outbursts, which cannot be allowed to be part of their character.  And, kids have to be taught to be tolerant and respectful of others, etc.

People of all ages must understand, that the world needs more peace and mutual respect...not just for the holiday season...but, the year around, too.  People must be more careful about what they say, as to not offend others...(Who knows...Santa may have enjoyed the flattery...but, I doubt it)

If a person has to appear in court in the US, that person has to be at his best behavior and appearance, or the judge will throw him or her out!  Parents have to teach their kids good behavior at a young age...no exceptions!
