Friday night game night will never be the same.
If light and jaunty dialogue sparks up your reading enjoyment, Glitched, a short novel by JC Doan, beckons to delight. It’s hard to relate the tale’s masterful twists and turns without leaking spoilers. Suffice it to say, Friday night game night with a game board resembling a graveyard, a deck of cards and two dice erupts quickly into an adventure as creepy and eerie as Elm Street or any version of Halloween. Readers can be thankful no talking doll puts in an appearance.
To suggest that romance novel themes play a divining part, presents a cruel fateful twist. There is a heroine, who could’ve been named Pauline, a dutiful sidekick, but no dashing hero. Enjoy swashbuckling adventure, murderous villain suspense and, for three seconds, key into the knowledge that no opening line said it was a dark and gloomy night.

But since you reviewed Glitch and find it delightful, I might venture to read the book. But I might, more likely, view the movie if it was available as a movie.
