We need more time
Professor Ambrose Penwose, Kiwi
The university has given me very little time to write this, so I hope you are a fast readers.
My very favorite quotation comes to mind and it always leaves me with a thought or two…
”The Only Reason for time is so everything doesn’t happen all at once.” By Albert Einstein.
A quotation that stands on a line of it’s own, yet I was not able to do so at this time.
You will notice it says, “The ONLY reason.”
Therefore, if we were to take away things to do, there would be no reason for time.
We could virtually eliminate time, yet our accomplishments would be less consuming.
Please notice I did not say “Time Consuming,” as time was eliminated.
We could also say, Time is that which we have no time to consider, although its seems we would be considering.
If you had no job, there would be no morning rush to get to it, On Time, and you would not be late even though you never went there.
If you had nothing to do, you could do it whenever you wanted to.
You could actually get it done when you didn’t want to.
Without time you would never have to go to a dentist.
There was no time on Mars. We have brought things to do to Mars, and consequently Time, which it never had before and always will until we leave. I am sure They hope we do so quickly, which is in itself a matter of time.
Traveling in circles on Mars can be difficult. Without time there are no Clocks, and without clocks we do not know if we are going clockwise or not.
Things we commonly stir clockwise are recipe dysfunctional without time, yet somehow still effective.
If time were on a train and only those riding the train aged, while those who watched the train pass by did not, Very little difference would be noticed unless the train ran non stopped for several years and we are quite sure those on board would have long since run out of nutritional sustenance, especially vegetables which do not age well.
The train would have been making its stops, without doing so, as those who waited ultimately took a bus.
If a man walks a mile in one direction, while another walks the same distance in another direction, time will have no meaning unless one arrives before the other. We argue one was faster, or one was slower? Only time knows for sure. And only time cares…We Don’t!
