Ideas drop in my lap.

IT GETS BETTER ALL THE TIME.
Some peoples have a hard time getting column ideas.
For me, they drop in my lap!
This is in reference to yesterday’s Stupid IS, (I think that’s what I called it?) If not, check your birdcage.

Refresher…I talked about sending Gina a letter without postage and waiting in the 110 degree heat for 2 hours for the mailman.
Does that sound Familiar?

So Gina got the letter and was about to message me when she saw my message.

Listen to this…
She got a call from her local UPS store, where she mailed the hat from.
They said a letter for her just arrived.
Are you kidding me?
She wondered how she got a letter at UPS?

Then she remembered they insisted she put THEIR return address, below her name.
Did you ever hear of anything so Goofy?
If they wanted to do that, they should have put “In care of.” But they didn’t!
So I sent the letter to them, they called her, she picked it up, and wants to send it back, I told her “No Returns!”

Is the world crazy or is it just me?

Penwose Out,

I stupider don't get it, but I'm rather dense today.

But I think it proves why we should not commercialize our mail system. Can you imagine UPS, FedEx, Uber and Lyft, along with other competitors, throwing our mail over the fence to be rained on the entire weekend while we are skiing in Banff?

Well, I can imagine it. I can imagine the coyotes opening the letters, too, so they can lick the sweet tasting sealer on the envelopes.

Isn't that special?

Ron
