Foreword*
Why am I sharing this information? The answer is really simple. I spent many years, decades in fact, wandering in the desert, not certain where I will end up. In heaven or in hell. I was doing fine in my career but really, where does that kind of success lead to? I eventually found out, the hard way, that if you are not connected to the Almighty Creator, you will stumble, sooner or later. When people hear this statements, some of them roll up their eyes.
I hope by writing and letting people know about my journey, it would help them avoid or totally prevent such a mishap. My life was almost “totalled”, like in a “total” wreck of your vehicle in a highway accident. Only by the Lord’s mercy did I and my family survive.
I continued my search as to where I will end up. Many years passed and then in the year 2000, I finally found the answer. Of all places, in the oldest book, we know as the Bible. More often than not this book is gathering dust somewhere in many homes. (I was born a catholic and do not recall seeing a Bible at home. Even when I attended high school run by the catholic Jesuits, we were not introduced to the Book. What I saw were Catechism pamphlets) .
I saw an old edition Bible gathering dust in the Admin office of a Church ! Well, I saw what I saw, I even handled it and leafed thru its pages. Sad. In a church of all places.
Finally:
In 2000, I was at that time doing business consulting work in several of the states north of Texas and invariably on Sundays I would be in my hotel room watching TV and got exposed to the many church service programs. For example, the Sunday services of Joel Osteen, Charles Stanley, John Hagee, Michael Youseff and many others.
It was good. I needed a break from business matters, so the church service preaching was a great relief. That is how I found my way to salvation. It is so simple so much so that many people ignore it because it seems too good to be true . Well, it is true .
I found out that all I had to do was to admit that I was a sinner and then promise to the Lord that I will turn away from my sinful ways, (meaning repent), believe that He came to earth, was born and later on suffered, shed His blood and died on the cross in my place. That he rose from the grave on the third day and ascended to heaven on the 40th day. His death on the cross was the payment for my and the sin-debts of all humanity to the heavenly Father, whether you are Buddhist, Moslem, Christian or other religion.
What is difficult to believe is that we do not have to do anything except believe in our hearts and say it with our mouth what it says in the above paragraph. I believe it is our human nature to want to do something in return for such a great gift as salvation. But it is very clear that we cannot do anything to save ourselves. Only Jesus can. (more on this later in the book).
Our salvation is like money in the bank. All we have to do is withdraw it or ask for it. And here the problem lies. Most people do not believe that its that simple to be saved, so they go on with life knocking themselves over uselessly. Always feeling guilty, never sure where they will end up, always wondering and asking, “Did God really forgive me for killing that person? For stealing or telling a huge lie?”
And worst of all, here comes the devil and he whispers to your ear, “No, God did not forgive you. How can He forgive a pervert like you, a hypocrite like you”. Then you get depressed and you are back to minus square one. Millions of supposed Christians are in that state of uncertainty. It’s a pity. All they have to do is read the Bible. And pray for enlightenment from the Holy Spirit.

This is a draft of my story about my journey to date. After reading the Foreword, you can read any Part which attracts your attention. I use this book as a reference of the many, many profound verses, proverbs and inspiring stories.
Hopefully I can accomplish in some small way the Lord’s instruction s in Matthew 28:19-20,
“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you;
and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

p.s. 6:47 am, July 18, Monday. I am awake but still in bed. My mind started to wind up. Yesterday I just posted Part 3 of my planned book. I asked myself, what would the Lord want this book to accomplish?
Here is what came to my mind. Since I bought my first Bible in 2000, I have found profound lessons, verses, and stories in the Bible. (Better late than never). I have heard countless Pastors delivering their Sunday lessons, attended Bible classes regularly, read regular size books, industrial size books, small pamphlets, tracts, and other publications via television and the internet. I have learned what “speaking in tongues” is about.
All these information are filed in my head, on paper filed in binders and everywhere else. And lost when I pass on. I do not want all these good stuff go to waste. It could mean people spending eternity in heaven with the Lord or in hell.
I am driven to compile all of these priceless information into a handy, light, Field Operating Manual, a ready Reference for me and for those who have not yet met Jesus Christ. It is a story of one man’s journey to find with God’s help, the narrow path to heaven. And to finally admit that he cannot accomplish anything outside God’s will.
An “industrial” size book, (6” x 9”)? - of so many pages it will turn out to be. Light and easy to carry when I go to the trenches, to public places and secular meetings, where there are people who have not yet met Jesus Christ. Or those who know about the Lord but are not clear about His teachings.
