It's amazingly awing  how the World Population reached about 6.8 Billion in 2010. Statistical studies show that later this 2011 or early 2012, the World Population will reach 7 Billion.

Four babies are born while 2 people die per second. If there are 86, 400 seconds everyday, 86, 400 multiplied by 4, then 345600 babies are born everyday.  HOWEVER, app. 35% of the 345600 are not alive, leaving about 200,000 babies. Concurring the symbols I have here, we can say that there are app. 30,000 people who add up to our population daily.  Only 30,000 are added up because app.170,000 people die everyday. 13% of those who die daily are children. Children die because of poverty, hunger, easily preventable diseases and illnesses, and other related causes. Despite this catastrophe, the world never recognizes the need to stop vices, corruption, materialism, and any more selfish human acts.

Almost half of the World Population suffers from poverty, which suggests that 3 Billion people live with at most $ 2.5 daily. Two billion are working hard in factories, and as employees in the government and private sectors. One and a half billion are running businesses of all sorts. 800 million are jobless; that includes children, students, and unemployed adults. 

While three billion people suffer from starvation and all sorts of scarcity, there are about two billion people who are capable of supporting at least two families. There are more or less 100 known billionaires in our world today--- who are also well-considered "Entrepreneurs". Entrepreneurs are people who make and run businesses to provide jobs and opportunities for the people. No wonder, they are called entrepreneurs. BUT I have another meaning of what an entrepreneur is, as what I see in our society. ENTREPRENEUR equals a person who provides jobs for people, but still owns a property way more than what he has to offer. For instance, The Top Ten Richest Men in the World are billionaires. If they had $ 1 Billion each donated to a foundation, then there would be a total of $10 Billion. $ 10 Billion dollars = hundreds of businesses = opportunities for the poor = opportunities in education = opportunities for a better life = opportunities of peace, love, joy, and a beautiful world.

Somehow, I thought that maybe, just maybe, someone shares the same thought as I do. Maybe, someone out there also thinks that spending $200 for a pair of shoes could already feed about 30 families everyday; that truly, truly, truly, it's better to share to those people who suffer greatly from poverty than feed milk to dogs and cats in our homes. Let's not be blinded by money or fame, or power. Hence, let's not be quieted by fear or shame, or inferiority. Let's give out to the poor, especially those who have the most to offer. Let's celebrate life! But not only for ourselves but for every human being who lives.
