I wrote this for a very special poet. The content is of high value so I am sharing with all of you.
Life lingers in the hearts of man
It is hidden in a place few understand
Like all the joy that lives
Rolled up in the sand
To be washed a way by the waves
For all life’s treasures are as fleeting as the wind
The beauty of life finds hope in the love
That is held by the belief this to will end
Friendship is the kindling of survival
Fire burns brightly in the quite night
When all else fails, words ease the pain
Give a touch crossing miles soothing the soul
Comforting the mind of man and woman a like
The poet unlike most finds the dream
Feels and lives the words tasting good and bad
We are souls of man and woman pushing time
Hiding under the cloak viewing what is and what will be
Today is yesterday and tomorrow rolled in a neat package
To be spilled to all who can read
Each will find his own place
Some will see sorrow and pain while others will find hope
Most words of comfort and pleasure
Obligation, duty, responsibility, all describe our role
For each of us is gifted with a rare talent of love
Love of man, life, reality, and place in time
I lay my soul on the table of life and bare for all to see
I do this so that others may live through me
Share the joy I find
Question the wrong and observe
The beauty of all aspects of being alive

This part moved me to tears
"Life lingers in the hearts of man
It is hidden in a place few understand
Like all the joy that lives
Rolled up in the sand
To be washed a way by the waves "
Great touching write!!
